I am a big fan of wet wipes for personal bathroom use. I always want a wipe to accompany regular tissue as part of my bathroom hygiene routine. Think about it… if you picked up feces with you bare hand what would get it clean, dry tissue or a wet wipe. So I now keep wipes in every bathroom in my house including the powder room on the main floor. Wipe packaging does not always look so great, especially when the wipe package is only about half full. I wanted something that would nicely present wipes in the guest bathroom so I didn’t look like I just forgot and left a half empty package of wipes on the toilet tank.So I bought this case for wipes. The fact that it says “wipes” makes it look like their presence is more deliberate. It is a large size box so it could accommodate larger packets of wipes.BUT here is the thing... I recommend keeping the wipes in their original packaging as the box lid does not have a gasket to keep things airtight risking your wipes drying out prematurely. By keeping wipes in their original packaging inside the box you can keep the seal.If I were to buy another box like this to decoratively display wipes for my guests to use I would choose one with a sealed lid that would allow me to load a full sleeve of wipes without using the original packaging. My main concern was that the wipes would dry out, but that has not been an issue. The issue is the lid keeps popping off at the hinge. It is poorly made. Also, the image made it look like there was a smaller plastic piece inside that offered more protection from drying out. This just has one very large hole to remove the wipes. Read more
