I was convinced that I needed a $250 baby monitor...I didn't! I promise, it does just about everything, if not everything, the ultra expensive monitors can do. From night vision to lullabies to being able to have a multi-camera view (if you have multiple cameras), this baby monitor will do everything you need! Honestly, if you wanted to, you could use this as an indoor security camera.Pros:- Feeding reminder. Great way for my husband to stick to the feeding schedule when I'm in class, for example.- Detects sound and alerts when the baby cries, or any sound is made. And it will go off until you acknowledge the alert.- GREAT range! I put the camera in the garage and went by my pool and it still worked perfectly!- Amazing picture quality, even with night vision, the quality is not great diminished. Also, the night vision is probably my favorite part.- The monitor will sleep if nothing is detected after a few seconds. And if sound or movement is detected, it will automatically turn back on.- Long battery life. We leave it plugged in 99% of the time, but the monitor's battery lasts a full 24 hours.Cons:- Can't customize or pick my own songs, but the fact that it even has songs, is a win!- When it gives an alert, the monitor could be louder. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and set up. Often, these types of products take a ton of set up with cryptic instruction. Not this one! It works perfectly out of the box. The menus are easy to follow and the quality of the picture is impressive. The instruction book is easy to understand and well written (though it's not really needed). I was happily surprised with this monitor, it far exceeded my expectations. I saw some comments that the picture quality could be better, but I found it fine – I don’t need to be able to read the laundering instructions on my kid’s clothing or anything! The range is very good, it worked fine with the camera placed in a room at least 75 feet from the monitor though started breaking up after that (the signal did admittedly have to go through two walls). I did find a great alternate use for the product, my work area is fairly far from my front door and I often worry that I can’t keep an eye on it if someone is knocking on it – this sets works great for that, I just monitor the front door instead of baby and the video and two-way sound ensure I’ll hear and see if someone’s there. This monitor is really easy to set up and required to charged full battery before usage. The full battery can use up to 3-4 days. It had paired with camera ahead, so no worry about it. I needed a good quality baby monitor to watch the baby while I work in the office for most of the day. This has been the perfect baby monitor to watch the baby. It is efficient and easy to work. Setup is very easy and the instructions are concise and easy to follow. Two-way audio allows me to coo at the baby without ever having to leave my desk. The night vision allows me to check on the baby without having to turn on the light and wake the baby, especially at night. My favorite feature is the handheld screen so I can even monitor while letting the dogs out. I purchased this so the aide that stays with my elderly father can keep eyes on him at night while he sleeps. Seems to do a decent job. Only issue is that the monitor goes to sleep after a few seconds … like maybe 30-40 seconds. Not sure if it can be adjusted in setting somewhere yet. Read more
