I bought this carseat because the seat was compatible with the Baby Trend Debut Sport with a higher weight capacity then the carseat we had (22 lb vs 35 lb).See, my family does not own a car. We usually walk or use public transit. I'd say we are in a car maybe once a week if that. So for me, the appeal of being using my new stroller as a frame that can be adapted when he's older was huge. And having a car seat that allowed me to utilize that feature as long as possible was equally huge. Especially with three children about 6 and under.So, about the seat, the height adjusts from the back with a red knob. Straps there's a button by the buckle. You push it as you pull the straps. Fairly easy and straight forward. The knob itself can get the way of the straps a bit, pushing them out. It's tight but it concerned me. So for myself I would slowly adjust then guide the straps. So kinda annoying. The buckle adjusts by unwrapping the strap from the seat. The piece pulls out a bit. Just don't completely remove everything.Needless to say, it took a bit to adjust it. I feel like it could have been a tad more user friendly. And I do hope it was more that I was learning then anything else which is why I say 4 out of 5.Onto the snap and go feature. I love it! It secures almost too well. I noticed I have to lift as I unsnap otherwise the seat stuck fast. Which makes me feel reassured since we live in an area with a lot of hills. Rather jogging or walking I feel he's safe. And my baby is comfortable and happy as you can see in the picture. His other seat he fussed going into it. This one he fussed the first time and that was it.Installing it into cabs has been a breeze for far. Theres spots on the top you feed the straps into. It takes all of maybe 10 seconds. Which is essential when you have a grumpy driver and screaming kids.So, overall, I love this stroller. It does exactly what it needs to and fits my purposes to a tea. Read more

I like this car seat - overall great quality for price BUT Unfortunately the leg cover clips are very badly made. I ordered one car seat, and both clips were broken on arrival. I ordered a replacement seat and one clip was broken on arrival. I do not want to return / replace yet again so will sew a loop on or something. Design flaw for sure. Obviously not a big deal and doesn't affect car seat safety as it's just an add on but disappointing nonetheless. Read more

We purchased this car seat for our four month old after using a convertible car seat. We live in a very cold, wet envionment and this is the best way for us to get him in and out of the car while keeping him warm.There are some pros and cons to this seat.Pro: it's very clean looking. The interior seems comfortable. Stains have been coming up easily if we wipe them down. The handle has an anti rock feature which is great for getting baby in and out of the seat.Cons (and the reasons for the three stars):The boot CAN'T be used while the stroller is snapped into the Manta, which really irritates me. We've been leaving the boot on while the seat is connected to the stroller, but it gets kicked or blown off. It's extremely frustrating to me that this boot would be designed in such a way that it can't be used while the draft is connected to the stroller.Another thing that I've noticed about the seat is that one side tends to get stuck when removing it from the stroller. It's not convenient at all to remove. I know that it's the seat because I have no problems removing the stroller seat/bassinet from the stroller.I would buy this seat again because over all, I do like it.
