I bought this same 3-pack back in April 2017 when my son turned 1 because I wanted to potty train him early. But things didn’t work out due to my work schedule. Back in April there was only One Size. This new version with different sizes is NOT as padded as the old version. Though there seems to be some sort of waterproof layer, this new version does NOT feel like 4 layers of muslin. The crotch of thE new version feels so much thinner to the touch compared to the old version. I am returning this because I don’t think it will work with leaks. I feel like this company changed their product to a cheaper version to make more margin. Photo on left is the old version (see more quilting on crotch) vs new version on right that feels like any normal undies. Sizing is also off now. The rise on the new small (80) seems too high waisted. Read more
I read the reviews about these coming in a variety of quality levels. I still purchased because I bought several types of trainers to see what would be best for my 18month old toddler boy once they arrived to compare all of them side by side. These were one of 3 types that were returned, here is why:As some of the reviews said, these are very think and VERY high waisted. My toddler is long and lean without a belly but thicker thighs. He is roughly 24ish lbs and these would go all the way up to his chest if I were to put them on him! Also, the stitching and material are not very good quality. While I have no complaints about the extra crotch lining (it was roughly what I was looking for), I can't say I would be confident that these would retain any kind of accident, even a small one. According to the reviews, those that purchased in the first half of 2017 got a great product! Anything more recent, not so much... Read more
My LO has a leaner frame and wears size 4 diapers (age 12-18 mos) and the small fits him. If his thighs were chubbier they may be too tight. He's ready to move to size 5 diapers and the smalls of these trainer pants still fit but are getting tight so I'm ordering the mediums. We like these. They are a soft comfy cotton (crotch is layers of muslin) that catch the moisture and solids better than no diaper, but there is no water resistant layer to protect the couch, for example. I would prefer that kind of protection for clothing and furniture but idk of a good alternative yet, and the benefit of these is they help the child and caregiver notice quickly when the 'accident' is happening, increasing the association between pee and potty at the moment of opportunity for learning. (We practice child-led, non-coercive potty learning.) Read more
These are not the same as the 2 pack colors. They appear to be an older model and are sized MUCH larger than the others. They also have only one leg gusset while the other options have two. I first ordered the orange, green, blue and purple versions. Those are great and true to size. I was very disappointed with these three :( The prints are adorable but they are not really the same product so i will be sending them back. Read more
Love these and bought them in all nine patterns! We also have the Gerber training pants that we bought from Target and these ones are WAY better quality. I would highly recommend them! Read more
Nice quality and very absorbent. My only complaint is these shrunk a lot in the dryer and run slightly small, as even my skinny 2-year-old struggles to pull them up. Read more
They don't hold as much as a diaper but I don't think that they should - they're for training. Not too bulky and no noisy plastic. Read more
I have not started using these yet but they are just as described and I love the prints. They seem to be well made as well. Read more
