I already have a similar product for our baby but was intrigued by the cute character design, so had to try this. Good looking and very nice quality. It is a very cute and functional product and extremely fancy. My wife and I both loved this toy noise machine and highly recommended it to any parents for their baby. This cow is adorable! It is larger than most similar toys that we have tried, but our daughter fell in love with it instantly! She's 6, and it's perfect size for her to cuddle with. She would have probably loved it better without lights and sounds, but she does like the light show - it helps her relax and fall asleep. You do have to install batteries (three AAs, not included) for the lights/sounds to work.If I could suggest an improvement - I'd love if the lights turned off after, say, 15 minutes, to conserve the batteries.The toy is suggested for "newborns" and "babies" but I think it's a little too big for that. Got adorable little plush music and projector night light for my toddler niece and she absolutely loves it. The little cow is so soft and plush and it’s great that I can toss it in the washing machine. She can hug the cow to sleep while the night light stays on the table. The melodies are pretty standard for these types of baby soother machines with music. The night light is not too bright but still provides adequate lighting. I don’t love the fact it runs on batteries (3 AAA batteries not included), wish it’s rechargeable. Must be unscrewed to insert batteries and hopefully the screw won’t strip. Makes a great gift. I really liked the size of this toy when it arrived. Put in 3 AAA batteries and tried it out.I like that it does have a volume control. Light isn't too bright but does light up enough where we can see in the dark room.Toy seems to be well made. I love the sounds that come from it. I think it really helped the little one to relax and fall asleep faster.The only thing I wish this had was an auto shut off.
