I have this for my child and recently purchased the 2-4 year size. He asks for his sleep sack every night and prefers it to blankets. It is anti microbial so you don't need to wash unless it gets spit up etc. it is expensive, but you buy 1 for two years. You do jot need to transition between sleep sacks. It IS great ALL YEAR. You simply change the style they wear underneath. You get great recommendations and instructions with the sleep sack.I have purchased this as a baby shower gift for 3 other families. I got my Woolino yesterday and immediately when I opened it I could tell it was worth the money. It's one of those materials that you rub on your cheek and say "ohh, that's nice". My three month old slept in it last night and seemed very comfortable. It was very easy to put him in and fits well while still having lots of room to grow. I will likely be buying a second one of these for him to use at daycare. Some things are worth spending extra for and this is one of them. We bought this for the wintertime and it definitely keeps my child nice and warm. Started using it when he was about 7 months old and it fits well. There is lots of room near the legs which is nice. The zippers are very good quality and easy to zip open and clothes. The bottom zips open if you need to change a diaper so you do not need to take the entire sleep sack off.Would buy again but haven't needed to because it is good quality and has lasted.It does come with sewn holes that allow the child to be in the sleep sack in the car seat, however I do not recommend doing that as it is a safety issue (ie if you have to get your child out of the car seat quickly in an emergency) so please do not use that feature. Sweet design, light weight, never cold in the morning or over heated. Little man is seven months and doesn’t have trouble sleeping with the sack at all. I did A LOT of research before buying this. I mostly bought it due to my baby’s size. She’s 3 months but wearing 6-9 month size clothes. The idea of having to constantly update her sleep sacks and spend all that money didn’t sound fun. So I went with the sack that’ll hopefully last until she’s 2!It’s super cozy and luckily I still need to use the underarm snaps cause it’s nicely too big for her! She’s sleeping fantastic and I knew this sack was going to work when I woke up at 4am and she managed to scoot upside down in her crib and never woke up!! Excellent quality product. The colors and size are exactly right. The price is a bit steep, but worth it in my opinion for a well-made, durable, washable, easy-to-use sleep sack. We loved it so much, we bought a second one in a different color to make sure we would never be without. These are far superior in quality and feel as compared to the many other cheap, polyester sacks we have used. We have used them with pajamas with our little one with indoor temps ranging from 60°-70°F, and she sleeps well and feels comfortably warm to the touch when we get her out of the crib in the mornings. This is the single best purchase I made as a new mom and the product I am most sad to see my now 2-year old outgrow. I would recommend this to anybody. I purchased this sleep sack when my son was 5 months old and he is still wearing it as a 2 year old. It keeps him warm in the winter but not too warm in the summer. I love that it zips around the edges, which made middle of the night diaper changes much easier. I also love that it buttons over the shoulders rather than having to be put over a baby's head. I absolutely love this sleeping bag and so does my little girl. It was recommended to me by a safe sleep group who are super vigilant and fussy with their recommendations.The fabric is very very soft but not flimsy. The zip is strong and well made. It is covered at the ends so its comfortable for little one. It's got two strong press studs at each shoulder and one under each armpit to make it fit well for little babies. It comes with a thermometer so you can check the room temperature so you can dress baby according to the heat. The thermometer isnt the greatest for getting a precise temperature.It comes with a clothing guide too so you know what to dress your baby in for the right temperature so this helps reduce the risk of SIDSit is a bit more expensive than other sleep suits however your paying for absolute quality and more importantly safety.VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND. My 8 month old gets very warm and the house is very well insulated, his room is always about 25 degrees celsius. It has been hard to find a comfy sleep sack that will regulate his temperature appropriately and after a few wears he really seems to like this sleep sack. Feels and looks great! Our little boy wouldn’t sleep for more than 2 hours throughout the night and as soon as we put him in his Woolino sleeping bag, he slept for 5 hours! He was a little bit sick around the collar area but the sleeping bag was quick to dry and it didn’t soak through to his clothes. He also leaked through his nappy and sleep suit but the sleeping bag didn’t absorb anything or smell. November 2019: this just arrived today and on first opinion it’s really nice! The bag has a lot more weight to it then I thought it would. The wool is super soft and the shell with the constellation print is adorable! Obviously this review will need to be updated once i get it washed and have my daughter in it for a while! Hopefully its worth the rather steep price!It did come packaged really nicely! But in my excitement I forgot to take a picture before i took it out of the box. (Oops) its was in the box pictured and that was in a fitted plastic bag around the box.Update: January 20/20I can not say enough good things about this sleep bag, I was a bit apprehensive about buying it at first because of the price and am now very seriously contemplating buying a second! I put my daughter in a light cotton sleeper inside this bag and she is always a perfect temperature even when the temperature fluctuates in her bedroom. It fits perfectly with the armholes snapped at the moment but will grow with her as needed. Love it! I do follow the washing instructions that came with it and there has been no shrinkage as of yet.
