I am so glad I purchased this! I had heard horror stories of trying to clip nails while baby is sleeping (in the dark), accidentally clipping baby’s skin, and moms resorting to biting their baby’s nails themselves... this solves all of the issues! My baby girl was wide awake and it didn’t bother her at all. Every now and then she moved and I would use this on her skin accidentally, but it’s so gentle it didn’t do any harm. It also has a great carrying case for all the attachments so it’s essy to take on trips. As a new mom, I’ve been SO surprised with how fast my daughter’s nails grow, and how true it is that babies scratch themselves a lot - they just constantly have their hands flailing at their faces - so I’m so glad we have this! This is one of the best baby purchases I've made! After accidentally clipping my newborn's skin with baby clippers, I didn't want to touch her nails again. I find emery boards hard to use on her soft nails. But after her nails started growing and she was scratching up her face, I needed a solution, and this is it! It's easy to use and works well. I got this because my mommy app's mothers recommend this on the topic forum about trimming baby nails.this set is pretty neat it color code for each age range and can be use by adults too.didn't come with batteries takes 2x AAs but i can deal usually batteries that come with stuff anyways don't last as long.My baby is 2months and a few days and use its for the first time today and my baby was smiling and giggling vs the typical fighting me and crying or being fussy. I was absolutely terrified to trim my newborns nails when we brought him home from the hospital. This tool made it SO easy! I used it on myself first just to make sure I couldn’t accidentally hurt him if he moved or jerked while it was in motion. I was able to use it on my nail and even put it directly on my skin and it didn’t scratch or scrape me at all. In the picture you can see how sharp and pointy his nails were before using the trimmer (look at his thumb nail that hadn’t been touched yet) and you can see how well it filed the others down. I love the way this not only trims their nails by filing them but also rounds out the edges bc he has not been able to scratch his face anymore even when he manages to get his hands out of his mittens! First when I received it, I was thinking it felt “cheap-like” and didn’t think it was what I expected. Turns out I really do love this. It doesn’t take the place of clippers but files nails smoothly. everyone with a baby needs this! I was clipping my baby's nails as low as possible and they were still razor sharp. She is fascinated by this product and will sit still for me to file her nails. It is quick and her nails turn out very blunt and short. It is not very powerful, meaning it slows down when you push onto the nail, which is actually great because she will grab the spinning head and it just stops and doesn't hurt her. Read more

I had tried clipping my brand new baby’s teeny little nails several different ways, and she seems to have more skin attached under her nails than most as no matter what I tried I was nicking her skin. I bought this as my 6 month old baby kept scratching himself while sleeping and making scars on his face with his sharp nails. After using it, he did make some scars but it was much milder than previous ones.Your little one may find it so interesting and try to grab it for the first few times, but soon they will get used to it and let you do what you need to do!Clock/counter-clock mode is really useful as you can change it depending on which fingers you are trimming from which angle.At first, trimming the corner may not be easy, but you’ll get used to it and for me I was able to trim the corner from the second usage - so not so difficult! Great product, it’s the only thing my baby lets me use when trying to file down her nails! Knocked a star off because I had to order the pink one which was double the price of the green if I wanted it delivered that week as opposed to waiting a month for the green one which was half the price, I don’t think that was fair pricing seen as they’re the same product in a different colour. Easy to use, very effective. My baby was frequently scratching his face with his badger claws. I struggled to file them down with a normal file and I didn't trust myself with clippers. I have been using this on my baby since she was born, 5 months on we still use this to file her nails. Using scissors leave the nails still sharp, this filer smoothens the nails so there is no chance of any scratching. It is quiet so doesn't wake my baby when she is sleeping and is reasonable priced too. Love that it has all the attachments available until adult age.
