It was a bit tougher than anticipated to get some good prints, but we got some workable ones. I wanted prints while baby was still tiny, we ended up doing them at 6 weeks. for foot prints we had to have him awake and just pick him up and set his foot down on the pad. His hand was a bit tougher, we had to wait for him to be asleep as he wiggles so much, and then lay his hand down and gently press. This was hard as he still had a strong startle reflex and I was nervous to push down to hard on his little hand. All in all though it worked out; although every print came out different and some aren't as nice as others it was still a nice way to save his prints. I did laminate the cards with his prints as the ink never seemed to fully dry and i was afraid it would smear. the laminating made the ink nice and dark and crisp as well as keeps them from smudging over time. I ordered two of these kits. Each little cardboard box contained two inkless pads and paper. When I removed the inkless pads from the cardboard boxes I immediately noticed that some of the powdered ink had stuck to the clear plastic individual cases that the pads were enclosed in. See pictures. I went ahead and tried to use the pad that had lost the least amount of powdered ink. As you can see from the picture, I got a hand print but there's little to no impression where the powered ink had already come off. I tried one of the other pads (that had even more powdered ink gone) and wasn't really able to get a decent usable print. I ordered this set because of the great reviews. I believe this set would work well if the pads were mailed in the clear plastic cases, then wrapped in bubble wrap, and then placed inside the cardboard boxes maybe? I wanted handprints of my newborn and I wish I had found this sooner. I tried the way messy version with the ink pads the hospital gives you first…BIG MISTAKE 🤦🏼‍♀️ these worked perfect. Word of advice, get your prints when your babe is asleep, it’s much easier. Read more

This was a pain in the rear end to get her print so I was like screw this, and I flipped it over to the ink side and stuck it on her foot. Don’t worry karens!!! I wiped her foot off afterwards. ;) This did make for great print gifts for my husband and his mom and my family. Read more

Was dried out!!!! Then when I tried to get a refund or a replacement they skrewed around on me and never ended up refunding it!!!! BS! I was so mad it was completely dried out! Bought this after attempting to use the clay type hand/foot print ones with my newborn failed. This product is MUCH easier to use with a baby. Having to press their tiny squirmy hand or foot for only a short moment without the press is a big plus. I’ve noticed though that the print never truly dries. We gave one to the grandparents are a souvenir and unknowingly we smudged the print. Good just handle final product with care. Read more

The sides were mislabeled so we got ink on our countertops and it stained. Besides that, it worked great with our little baby's handprints and footprints. It took some scrubbing to get the ink off. I would buy again and be cautious of the mislabeled sides. Read more

Great idea but you only get one shot at getting the print right for each ink pad so if you mess up (which I did) it’s a huge waste of money. You don’t have any room for trial and error. So disappointed and frustrated. I would not recommend especially for a baby or pet because it’s hard to control their movements. Read more

Der Stempeldruck funktioniert beim ersten Mal gut, alle weiteren Versuche auf der gleichen Stempelmatte (der Hersteller spricht von 4 Abdrücken pro Stempelmatte) sind nahezu farblos bzw. man sieht deutlich den zuvor gestempelten Abdruck hindurch.
