This is seriously the best baby toothbrush out there!!! I have used 12 baby toothbrushes and my little one would not let me brush his teeth so I had to resort to washing them at night while he slept. My son is 11 months old. His teeth started to discolor so I knew I needed to do something fast. A lady in a Facebook group I am in recommended an electric toothbrush and my son LOVES IT!!! My toddler is 2.5, and has dental complications from cancer treatment. I’m trying really hard to minimize extra issues, so we’re trying to take good care of her teeth 😂Tried a $5 electric toothbrush with Elsa and Ana on it. Wasn’t impressed with the places mold could easily grow, and the small one was scared of how intense the brushing was; she rarely let me brush with the thing on.So I gave up and found this. A great price, and I love that it lights up (heaven knows it’s hard enough to see in that barely open, constantly moving cavern). And it’s not too intense for little mouths. It was always a fight to brush my daughters teeth. She always wanted to hold the brush and wouldn’t let me help. I then gave her another brush so she could brush and I could with the one I was holding, Nope! She wasn’t having that either. The other tooth brushes for 12-18 months made her bleed as well. So I thought an electric toothbrush was worth a shot. This has literally been a game changer! I can now brush her teeth without a fight! The bristles are soft and don’t make her bleed. We were having a lot of trouble getting my 18 month old to let us brush her teeth. I thought I would try this and I am so glad I did. She loves it. She will let us brush and she loves walking around “brushing” with it herself. It has been a great help. I want to put it up here that this is a surprise thought out toothbrush for toddlers. The light makes it easy to see inside thier mouth. The brushes are nice and soft. It comes with a screw driver made specifically for the safety cap inside the toothbrush to keep the battery safe from kids. In case they learn to unscrew the bottom... they can't access the battery!! How cool is that. It comes with 3 replacement heads.Even if this doesn't last long... I think ill keep getting it for all its thoughtfulness.I do wish they would make a rechargeable version though. Our son was a champ at brushing his teeth and then one day he decided he hated it. We had finger tooth brushes, used cloths, even the triple sided Frida baby tooth brush (which worked for a short while). We wanted to make brushing teeth slightly interesting since it can be a boring task. He was really interested in our Oral B electric toothbrushes. My son finally allows us to get him brushed. The size of this brush head is the perfect size for his little teeth (He is 21 months old). I regret not getting this sooner. Hard to imagine how we suffered before getting this one. There was a time when we used a manual one on him and he would run about the house brushing everything but his teeth. Told our pediatrician about it and she had no idea they made electric toothbrushes for tiny people. Bought this for my 12 months old son who quite loves the vibrating machines so I thought he would like this tooth brush. It turns out to be right…upon receiving the package, he grabs it out of my hands and now he is able to handle his own teeth during brush time. The vibration isn’t powerful but enough to clean teeth like a regular tooth brush also it helps sooth sore gums. So I assume it could help to relieve oral issue. The built-in light helps quite a lot, especially for brushing the back teeth. It is also a perfect tool for me to check his mouth to make sure his gums and teeth are healthy or to see if a tooth is coming in. This is definitely a good buy.
