Babies are naturally drawn to music, and the Baby Einstein Discovering Music Activity Table will have your little one coming back for encore after encore. Introduce your child to a world of creativity with an activity center that helps them discover and make music. Babies can tap the piano keys to hear musical notes, and with the switch of a button the piano keys will introduce colors and numbers. The strummable guitar, tappable drum, and spinnable French horn ensure your little composer will have a blast exploring baby instruments. At the center of the table, a music book is ready for your baby to flip the page and activate melodies, lights and discovery modes. The music development table grows with your baby – it’s great for floor play without the legs for younger babies or attach the legs for stand and play discovery. Wipe clean with damp cloth and mild soap. Do not immerse in water.

My 18 month old has cerebral palsy and is still unable to sit up on his own. We put him in a floor sitter and this toy encouraged him to try to stay upright for a pretty long time. He's also deaf and had his cochlear implant activated about 3 months ago so sounds are very new to him. He loves the lights and music of this toy. Very easy to activate! I love it! Also for something less than $40, plus free shipping with Amazon Prime - totally worth it! Read more

2 stars only because this table is rather dangerous for babies the age is intended for. My son is 10 months old and just started to pull him self up. So he isn't so sure on his feet just yet. This table is cute and fun for them, but unfortunately it's very light weight and he pushes it easily around. With that said, standing up at this table is dangerous for him. I need to hold the table constantly, otherwise my boy would fall the entire time. I tried it on carpet which is better regarding the sliding issue, but still then you are facing the danger that the table tips over if baby holds on to it! So it makes this table dangerous and not suitable for babies. I'm not sure if it is interesting for toddlers, but I think they do not care for this anymore. Read more

Purchased this for 8 Month old grandson, and he still plays with it on his visits, (now 11 months old). Bright colors, flashing lights, a wide variety of sounds, tough and durable make this a best toy. He initially used it without the legs before he learned to sit, now comfortably reaches all the buttons and keys while using a booster seat on the floor, (with the detachable legs on). Nice, subtle introduction to the world of 'classical' tunes... also includes childhood favorites. Price very reasonable for the use it has given. The only draw back is that the center flip page that gives alternative sounds has a gap big enough that small fingers can get 'pinched' between the page and the smiley sun face made of hard plastic. It might be 'safer' if the sun was a softer rubber texture, but then again, the 'trauma' of getting little fingers pinched a bit was a lesson learned and he hasn't done it since the first time, (there is a tab they intended for youngsters to use to turn the the page, which he uses all the time now). A year and half after purchase, this is the one toy that has survived the test of time. My son was too tall for it out of the box but he loved it all the same. Yes, they'll trap their fingers in the flap that changes from music to numbers but they learn to move their fingers and it's hardly a major injury. Eventually I got sick of him tipping it over all the time so I took the legs off. Now at 26m he carries it around and still loves to bang on all the buttons. He loves counting and the number keyboardis a favorite. I keep putting the toy in a storage bin thinking that he's outgrown it but he always digs it back out. It also seems very durable, he's tried to mix it up by stepping on the buttons or just plain sitting on them and he's nearly 40lbs and everything still works like day 1 and no wear on any of the decals or stickers. This is a super fun toy for my baby. It helps her stand and she enjoys the music and lights. I like how it plays Instrumental music as opposed to annoying kid songs that get stuck in your head and play on repeat. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it turns on after your child moves on to other toys inticing her to return. She has moved on toy, don’t distract her with your lights and sounds, let her play with her book and use her imagination. Lol Read more

It was amazing while it lasted!!! So, here it is one month after purchase and it no longer works. Switched the batteries just to see if it would help, but no difference. It's not that there's no noise, but there's no sweet music anymore, just static and freeze and then static followed by a slamming noise. Disappointed mostly because baby toys don't last long due to child interest but it's worse when the toy doesn't last long enough to even make it to that. I won't says it's not worth buying but if you're in between this and another standing you.... if it has good reviews and lasts longer... go with the other. Read more

I am not a huge fan of electronic toys for little ones, but this is an exception. My grandson is only 11 weeks old, and the fact that this can be used flat on his playmat before later attaching the legs is a big plus. The variety this offers is exceptional. On "music mode", each of the piano keys plays a different song as the keys alternately light up in rhythm with the music. Each of the instrument buttons play the sound of that instrument except for the trumpet, which has a spinning rattle he loves. In "discivery" mode, it teaches numbers, shapes, and colors with each corresponding button. It also teaches the names of each instrument and again, reinforces that word with the corresponding sound. I also love the fact that it offers both Spanish and French modes in addition to English as we are a bilingual family and want him to have an understanding of both languages as he develops. It was amazing. Until it stopped working after 1 month. My son LOVED it. It just stopped one day. I changed the batteries. And all it does is make a static sound and die. I tried different batteries. Same thing. Basically it lasted 4 weeks and that was it. Find something more durable from a company that stands by their products and will replace/fix if they cease to function after just a few weeks. Read more

I wanted to love this activity table! My son loves music and I thought this would be a nice contrast to his wooden one. Unfortunately this toy has become nothing more than a button bashing toy:Within 5 days the paint on the buttons started wearing away and you now can't visually see what instruments they are supposed to be.When on freeplay mode the keyboard buttons are not particularly responsive. The legs are not very sturdy either and my son has pulled the table out and over numerous times so I'd recommend wedging it in somewhere if you do get this. Great for my grandson, the music is good and if you don't play with it for a while, it plays a little tune to remind you it's still there. He has a gig with it. Especially good if your toddler wants to cruise...as he can move easily around it holding on. Read more

Brilliantly interactive for my 6 month old grandson. He loves the classical music tunes. Yes, the American voice is a bit irritating, but the buttons and keyboard are bright, toddler-friendly and very responsive, as well as being robust! An be used as a table or the legs fold down and he can bash the keys whilst sitting with it on the sofa! Highly recommended. Read more

This table is not too bad but I feel my baby is just bored with it as there is nothing that moves much. It's mostly buttons with light and sound. My child mostly likes flipping the one half moon shaped page over that's in the centre of the table but that about all he can do. He doesn't seem interested in it at all other than to flip it upside down and use it as a suff board. Lol. The legs fall off easily even though they clip in, I don't know what he does but manages to take the legs off. Not great. Looks good though.. Read more
