I'm a birth doula, this is by far the best birth ball. Professional grade, sturdy, no leaks. I own two of these and lend one out to clients so they can use during their pregnancy and keep one on hand for births. My clients love that is more sturdy than other inexpensive balls they have tried. The material is great in that its matte and not slippery. I only wish this came in black because I use it often and things like pen marks dont come off easily. Perfect size (I'm 5'9"), easy to inflate (my 11 yo did it for me), the legs make ALL the difference in stability, safety, ease of use and carrying! And if you're wondering about working your hips with the ball legs - Don't! They do not affect the rolling motion or prevent any movements I've used previous exercise balls for. I bought this product because I had a permanent lower back pain for a long time. This works as s miracle. After a week using it, the pain started to go away, it was less intense every day.One needs to get used to sit on it, at the beginning I was not stable on it but after a few days I got used to it and now I even bounce on it. I bought this to use as my desk chair in my classroom and will eventually get another one for home. The ball itself is nice, I like it a lot! Especially the legs. My only complaint is the pump they included. It comes with an adaptor but it didn’t fit the pump. I had to jam it in the pump and tape around the outside to make it work. Had I been at home, I could have used a different pump. Being at work, it wasn’t available to me. It was just a pain but worked out in the end. Read more

I loved this product--used for exercises while pregnant and as a birth ball. It's worth the extra money because you don't have to try and keep it from rolling away while in labor. I've had really bad back pain with this pregnancy. Sitting down has been excruciating. I keep this ball right at the kitchen table and use it to sit for all of my meals or just randomly throughout the day. I'm 5'5", ball was perfect height for sitting while enjoying some Netflix binges while awaiting baby arrival or doing my daily stretches. The 'legs' gave it the extra stability I needed the last few weeks when my balance wasnt great. Ball traveled to hospital for the birth- husband had no complaints on pumping it back up quickly. This Birth Ball suited my needs while I was pregnant. I loved it. I loved bouncing on it, rolling on it and I think I loved it so much while I was pregnant that my newborn baby loved it as well. The best way to calm my newborn was to bounce on the ball with her. However, I took a star off because the legs are meant to stabilize the ball when you go to sit on it, but sometimes the ball would roll under me anyway. I have never owned or sat on a yoga ball without the little legs, so I wouldn't know what to compare it to. I did like that the legs would keep the ball in place while not in use (though my toddler enjoyed rolling it around the room anyway); it did help prevent the entire ball getting dirty. While this ball was great for me during pregnancy and the newborn phase, I am now putting it away because I don't like it enough for long term use. It may just be a preference thing, but I would rather sit on a chair now that I am not pregnant. Read more
