However, this time around one of the sponges had something hard (looked and felt like a rock) wedged in between. As I was bathing my son, he let out a cry and wiped his hand across his face. Best baby sponge ever. Have used it for nearly 3 months now. Still proving to be the best. At first touch it was very rough I nearly trashed them. Wanted to use it to scrub bathroom tiles - yes it was that bad. Then soaked it in water and I turned out super soft and nice. Have been using for my LO since then. I have been using these sponges for my 9-month-old ever since he was a newborn. It's soft and gentle enough for delicate baby skin and lathers soap well. I have not had issues finding any debris embedded in the sponge like another reviewer mentioned - and I replace it on a monthly basis (they're much more durable than this, just a preference of mine). Worm eggs and dead insect bodies found inside one of the 2 sponges, HORRIBLY DISGUSTING!!! Look like flees as I’ve seen them when my dog had a flee infection. The only bath sponge I’ll use on my son. What I like about it the most — I can lather on the soap really well. Other washcloths absorb the body wash, which makes me use more body wash during bath time. With this sponge, a little body wash goes a long way. Plus, it’s so soft and all natural. I love it!
