I decided to try this bib out considering all the reviews have nothing to do with this bib. First of all, this is not a silicone bib as advertised. There is nothing silicone on it. The food catcher tray is a soft plastic which can be detached from the bib. The outer shell of the bib is waterproof as it’s some type of plastic, while the back appears to be a thin cotton. Since the back is cotton, it does need time to dry if hand washing and can’t be used right away like a silicone bib can, but it does come with 3 detachable bibs as back up. I wouldn’t recommend putting these in the washer. The bib is quite long compared other food catcher bibs and the food catcher can interfere with the high chair tray, but it still does a good job in catching the food. The food catcher and bib is pretty wide, so it provides good coverage for spills. The buttons are plastic snap buttons, which I like compared to the silicone bibs that don’t have any buttons at all. The bib and food catcher is very light and my little guy didn’t fuss when I put it on like he does with the silicone one. Overall, it’s not too bad for what I paid. Read more
