I love this little guy. I got him because my husband and I are trying to conceive, but I’m in that terrible window when you don’t know if it’s happening or not and it drive you up the wall. I love a good hot bath, and my gynecologist (or their website, so at least it’s a reputable corner of the internet?) said it’s okay as long as it’s not over 103 degrees. The bonus is that I can also use it when I actually produce a tiny human, and it has to be cleaned. I thought it would be bigger for some reason (that’s what she said), but it’s perfect at around three inches in diameter. It goes by the tenth of a degree too, so I can really live on the edge at 102.whatever. He has a little light the blinks when it gets in the hot range, might be nice if it made a noise but then I’d probably get annoyed with him. The only downside is that you have to hit it to turn it on, and I just can’t get it to turn on by just tapping it aggressively, I have to hit it on the side of the tub, which might frighten a tiny human at some point, but I assume I’ll get it figured out by then. After getting a young bearded dragon, we knew water temp was VERY important during bath time. Not only did we need to make sure that the water was not too hot, but more importantly we needed to maintain a certain temp during bath time to make sure the water did not get too cold. This thermometer was PERFECT and we always throw it in the tub during bath time! Plus it's an extra toy for him to play with! I have been using this with my newborn for 3months now. Still works great every time. Keeps me at ease knowing the temperature isn’t too hot and lets me know when it’s starting to get too cold. Keeps mom and dad from arguing about if it’s too hot or too cold. It’s nice and small enough ito fit into a baby bath tub without taking up too much room and has a fun design I’m sure he’ll love playing with soon! This has to be the best bath thermometer ever. For those with infants, this is smaller than a deck of cards, so it WILL fit in those little baby bath tubs no problem! It came with a battery and worked right out of the box. I didn't have to push buttons or configure it or do any extra work. I literally unwrapped it and it registered the temperature of my hand. It has made my life easier. You may think that it's easy to tell whether the water you will be using for the baby has the perfect temperature just by touching the water. But, when you are sleeping 3 to 4 hours a day, this little fellow comes in handy. I rather have the water at 98 degrees for sure using the thermometer instead of making a mistake because I feel like a zombie. Read more

Worked for one bath. A complete waste of a product. We got it to replace the skip hop bath thermometer that we loved and this time I let my toddler pick out the animal and was excited when I found the stingray he requested. Love this. I wavered after reading reviews about it not working for long. But I bought it anyway. So glad I did. I used a sink tub with a thermometer for my daughter for a long time and when it was time to switch to the big tub I was worried about the water temp. This was the perfect solution. It updates the temp every few seconds so it’s not an instant read but as long as you keep an eye on it and adjust as you go it is awesome. I’ve tried several different products to monitor the temp of my son’s (now a toddler) baths, and this is the first thing to actually work and provide value. I needed something that I could put in the tub and watch as I filled it because we use the shower head with a filter (versus the tub spout, for which our temp cover no longer serves a purpose). Great buy! Accurate, easy to store between baths, and I like that we can replace battery down the line to keep using. Read more
