I hate going to the doctors to be stuck in a room with their sound machine on. So I never wanted to have one for myself. When visiting my in laws who live near a highway, I put this on and the highway disappeared! Now we have a baby and it stays on all day and night. The fan sound really works for me. Not annoying. And some part of it's loop I can hear a fant beep and at a different part an extra hum in the recording- those don't bother me. It's very slight. I wake to a pin dropping. Thus I enjoy. The most common sound machine needs to be faded out for this product. When the power went out and the various things were doing their quiet beeping in the house (computer low on charge), we barely noted those noises because the sound machine kept working when the power was out. When the smoke detector goes off (cooking bacon) that sound does come through. This is a product I'm glad to have. Read more

We've been using this in our nursery for a little over 2 months now and the battery life has already come to an end. When we first started using it, the battery would last us a few days before needing a change. Now it maybe lasts 30 min and dies completly. It needs to be plugged in to run the entire night where as before we had no issues. Read more

Love all the different sound options (the singing ones are super weird) but for some reason some time it won’t turn on. I was keeping it plugged in and have recently been unplugging it during the day and plugging it back up only at night and that seems to have resolved the issue but it’s still sort of annoying. Bought this earlier this year and loved it but today I went to turn it on for my baby’s nap and the button pushed in and it stopped working! Any attempt to contact Amazon is impossible so I’m stuck with a screaming baby and a broken machine! I’m very disappointed. I would not recommend it.
