I bought this for the price and it seemed to have s lasting popping sound. However, I wish I had went with a much sturdier toy of its kind. This item easily tops over and my sound quickly lost interest in trying to pop the balls because of this. Instead, we would play mommy stands the toy up and baby push it down on the side. It took little effort for my son to push it down on the rug. It seems to be much sturdier on the tile and doesn’t fall down easily but I play with my son on the rug and not the carpet. I should disclose that my rug also has padding under it which I highly doubt as any bearing here. I just think the toy is better used on tile floor than carpet or thick rugs. Read more

We bought this for my daughter’s first Christmas, and it is just so stinking cute! When my done was around 6/7mo old, his aunt bought the same toy for him, but since we don’t live near family, we never really got to play with it. When we did, it was a HUGE hit. Upon seeing it online, I clicked add to cart so fast my phone didn’t know what was happening. Now that he’s 3, and my daughter is 1, it has stood the test of both of them, AND they both love it! This little toy falls into the “ not so fun” category. I have had similar pop up toys and the kids go crazy over it. The competing toy allows the kids to open it and put things in it and then ouch the “popper.” This toy does nothing of the sort. My grandson will occasionally push it as he walks by it. I purchased this item for my 18 month old son. It is very beautiful and it just reminds me of vintage toys in a good way. It's very easy to push down and the balls pop for a good amount of time. My baby loves watching the ball bounce. Read more
