between my two friends and me, we all have toddlers the same age. all three of us bought this. the one boy was entertained for 2 hours in the tub. the other boy didn't give it any attention. and my son is 50/50 interested. I'm just unsure where to put it. it doesn't have suction on the bottom to use it in the tub or on the rim of the tub, so is kinda wobbly when in water/tub. you can't use it inside unless you want water all over. I guess you could put it in a kitchen sink, but not sure where your toddler would stand or sit safely to be able to play? so the other option is outside, maybe with a hose? not sure. its a fun concept. and my son likes the truck ... but you have to really help them play with it. I usually love this brand, but this particular item is not impressive at best and quite irritating at its worst. Its advertised as a “Sand and water” toy, but if your sand is even the least bit wet or humid don’t expect this thing to work at all. My son being two and not really understanding what it’s supposed to do still fills the top with sand and spins the wheels himself but loses interest pretty quickly. He loves the dump truck. We haven’t tried using it with water yet, so we’ll see how that goes but so far I wish I hadn’t bought this. Read more

Love the concept of this toy! BUT the hole in the nest sits too far back to truly drain the water over the wheel to make it spin, and the truck barely fits under the wheel on the other side. Also, the kids hands were blue from the paint after the first time playing with it. Bought this set for our Hawaii beach trip and the almost-2-year-old LOVED it. There's something about pouring water that's so addicting for toddlers. Material is a sturdy plastic that would last for several years, I imagine. Price point is a bit high for a beach toy but I think it's worth it not to have to replace the set. Read more
