Thank you for making this affordable! I was originally looking for a rocking horse, but they were all outside my budget and that’s when I came across this little gem! 😍 it rocks really smoothly and even has little stops at the front and back so it doesn’t flip. I lost the instructions, but honestly I didn’t even need them, it took me less than 30 minutes to assemble. The only drawbacks were one screw hole was too big so I had to put some toothpicks in the hole to get the screw in tight. Then the handlebar hole wasn’t big enough so I drilled it out a little wider. Thinking back I could have just used the larger screw in the smaller hole and vice versa. Read more

I have a love/hate relationship with this product. Is it cute?YES! Does my toddler love playing with it? YES! Is it safe? Not really. The pieces of the boat came with these wooden caps for the screws because apparently they tend to come out during rocking. I don’t know if it’s an issue with the holes being too big or the screws. Now the problem is that not all the screw holes came with those caps and the back as well as the side screws come out after my toddler uses it for a couple days. No matter how tight we screw them back on they come out except the ones that have those caps.I contacted the company quite a few times, sent photos and videos but never really got anywhere with them. I like the boat but it’s not worth the constant stress of it falling apart. Read more

It came in a great condition, no scratches or broken pieces. Very easy to assemble and it came out neat! I added letterings on the boat for customization. I was not satisfied with this purchase at all. The wood was thin and cheap. The bolts didn't fit correctly, so the handle was loose. The Hape company was very nice when I called, and did send another set of hardware. However, the new hardware did not help....the bolts still didn't help. Perhaps the problem was with the holes drilled into the handle, rather than bolts themselves. I ended up sending product back and was refunded. Customer service at Hape and Amazon are superb. I just wasn't satisfied with the actual product. Read more

The media could not be loaded.  It's a good looking boat but we screwed the handle in with a wrench and the peg handle part isn't tight and moves because the hole the peg part goes in is too big. Now the screw won't come out or go in so I'm guessing we got a defective product. I'm not sure what to do but it isn't safe moving like that. Going to contact seller to see if I can get a new piece since I want the boat. Read more

We bought this Hape Rocking boat for our daughter after seeing her climbing into her carseat and try to rock it. The boat is brilliant! Very wellmade, sturdy and looks expensive. My daughter (14M) can get in and out of the boat herself. Sometimes she uses the boat as her toy storage box too. We highly recommend this to both baby boys n girls. Read more
