I read some great reviews about this but did not expect to love it as much as I do. I love that there are two sides you can use - the bristle one (super soft, feels great) and the harder bumpier one. It lathers well, is easy to rinse off, and I feel so much cleaner than I ever did using a loofah or washcloth. I've got some keratosis pilaris on the backs of my arms and legs and after using this brush just 3 or 4 times, I've noticed that it has cleared up considerably, which is incredible given how many other things I've tried. I have been trying to stop using as many disposal items as possible and the shower loofah was one thing I couldn't find a replacement for, until now. I love this thing! I didn't think I would but I really do! It is true it doesn't suds up as much as a loofah does but it does still suds up. This is also piercing friendly! Anyone with nipple pierces will tell you nothing is worst than catching your loofah on them, but this is so gentle with nothing that can catch on them. Wanting to use less plastic, I bought this to replace my loofah. I use it with liquid body wash and bar soap and it works well. It foams up pretty well, although I find it works best with bar soap. You need to use more body wash than with a loofah to achieve the same amount of foam. I would not call this "exfoliating" or, at best, is a very gentle exfoliation when used on the body. My only design edit is to make this a little easier to set this on its side to dry in the shower. I have to lean it against the side of the shower carefully, or it falls over. If you set it flat, it will get a little moldy. Read more

I've been using loofahs and washcloths forever, so I was excited to try this out. I noticed that it worked best (lathered a lot) with body washes, as compared to a bar soap. I love the exfoliating component. Overall, I don't feel "as clean" with this as I do with the washcloth or loofahs, but that is most likely just me being used to scrubbing with other bath items. I bought this because I have arthritis and a lot of rinsing and wringing of other loofah, poofs, etc hurt my hands. This one is very easy to rinse, easy to hold, and is also gentle on my sensitive skin. I ran across this silicone exfoliating body brush, from watching Amazon Favorite video's on youtube. I'm so glad I seen that video (sorry I can't give credit because I went into rabbit hole of videos and can't remember but I'll update this if I findustry the YouTuber)I love the fact that it is soft even though it's silicone, it is easy to clean and lathers/foam great. Gives a good clean feeling. No more bacteria breeding grounds on loofahs and washcloths!!Only down side that it doesn't have a hanger or way to hang this brush for air drying. Me and my boyfriend loves this. I was really on the fence on this cause it's something new and didn't know how it will work out. I used to use loofahs, sea sponges, brushes, wash clothes. Some of them smell, puts me off that I don't want to wash myself. Then I started worrying about the bacteria that grows in it. And they all didn't do a good enough job like this. Now I use this my skin feels more soft. I have rough bumpy skin so feeling my skin softer then normal, is like wow for me. It's still bumpy but not as much before. I also read some reviews that using a bar soap is hard to use, I use bar soap and just get it a little wet and scrub till soapy. I'm trying to reduce my plastic use, even though this is silicone at least I don't have to renew it as much as others I tried. Wish I found this sooner. Read more

When I originally purchased this item, I was looking for an alternative to the poofs that you can usually find at Target or Walmart. I was a little skeptical, because I love the poofs because of the suds and lather that you can get from them, and wasn't sure that this would provide that, but it does! I found that I might need to use more body wash to get the same lather, but the bristles are so soft and I overall love the product. Would definitely purchase again. Read more

Very happy with this. You just have to accept that anything other then those plastic netting loufas is never going to be as foamy.You do have to use a little bit more body wash.Having tried what feels like every more environentally friendly body washing device on the planet, this is my favourite so far.It is quite soft so if you want to feel like your taking off a layer of skin when you wash yourself it might be too soft.
