I have tried several volumizing conditioners. My hair is very fine and flat as a pancake. Several years ago, I found Aveeda's Volumizing Tonic to be so successful, I decided to add this conditioner to my repetoire and I love it . . . I don't know why I haven't tried it before! This is a great conditioner if you have fine hair. I have used this for a long time. At one time my hair was oily and this was absolutely the only conditioner I found that didn't weigh my hair down. My hair is not oily now but it still works great. It has the consistency of toothpaste, hence the tube dispenser. This is concentrated, so you just squeeze a bit onto your hand and it more or less melts into your hair. It rinses clean and leaves hair in good condition. Read more

My grandson has a mohawk that has gotten quite long. He was having a great deal of problem with snarling/knotting and was leaving a lot of hair in the bathroom after a shower. This has been a great conditioner preventing the excessive snarling after a shower. Also, does not have that perfumey smell so many conditioners do. Read more
I have chin length fine straight hair, which just grew out to a bob from being short for a long time. So I had to start using different products. I like the Pure Abundance volumizing tonic, so thought I'd try this. It is surprisingly heavy in the hair -- containing clay as it does -- and seems to weigh it down. I definitely have to wash my hair a day earlier when I've used this conditioner. Not too pleased so far. Read more
This does exactly what I had hoped it would, which is give me a tiny bit of extra fullness and at the same time some great conditioning. It does exactly that. My hair comes out fuller and fluffier while having some extra body and smoothness. I didn't need or want super volumizing as I have plenty of hair. But it is a bit poofier when I use this. It has a nice herbal scent also as most Aveda products do. I'm quite pleased with this and will add it to my lineup of conditioners. Read more
