I received one "Auto Skin Tag Removal Kit".I have quiet a few skin tags which I have always hated. Let's be real ... they're ugly and annoying. Sometimes they are in very inconvenient spots on your body.I had a pretty good size skin tag on my chest. I couldn't wait to get rid of it and this kit helped me do just that. This kit includes everything you essentially need to remove the skin tag plus "repair patches". I could never figure out what to really do with those & the instructions weren't any help. So, I didn't use the "repair patches".This kit includes the skin tag removal pen, the band loader, cleansing swabs, the soft bands, the repair patches and the instructions. Most of my skin tags were way too small for this kit but the one on my chest was a good size. That's the one I tried this kit on.You just push the band loader (it's a blue colored pointy end) into the skin tag removal pen. Then you take one of the soft bands (they look like those little clear pieces that go on the backs of earrings to keep them from falling off) and roll it down the band loader until it goes up on a piece on the end of the skin tag removal pen. The soft bands stretch like a little tiny rubber band. Then you pull the band loader (pointy end) off. Swab the skin tag area, let it dry a few minutes and then put the skin tag removal pen right on your skin tag. Push the button down on the top of the skin tag removal pen and the soft band is pushed onto your skin tag.It took me a few tries but I eventually got the soft band on my skin tag correctly (up close to my skin). Now here is where persistence is key ... the soft bands come off pretty easily with any touching or moving at all. So, I had to keep reapplying the soft bands to my skin tag (day after day / time after time). That means I had to go through the whole process everytime of loading the skin tag removal pen, cleaning the area and all that.I noticed throughout the week that my skin tag was deflating. It was getting smaller and smaller on the end that didn't have the soft band on it. By about day 3 or 4 the end of my skin tag had turned black. It then fell off in the shower as I was washing my chest. It left just a small red circle where my skin tag use to be. Read more
This product is a nice evolution of the old-fashioned home remedy of tying something (like thread) tightly around the base of a skin tag to cut circulation so everything past the tie dies and falls off. With this product, you feed small rubber bands over the applicator, slip it over the tag, and pop the rubber band off at the base. Typically, I would say this does the job in about a week to week and a half. After about a day, there can be minor pain, maybe a bit less than the level of nicking a tag with hair clippers or when they get red and swell like a balloon. When using this tool, tags need to be mid-sized. The bigger ones may not fit inside the applicator tube and bands may slip off the smaller ones. I also noticed that if the end shrinks down as it begins to die instead of making a mushroom shape, the band can slip off. The kit comes with a lot of bands though, so that is pretty handy. There's also some round stickers in the kit. I suspect they are meant for use after the end of the tag falls off, but I have no idea why. There's nothing in the instructions about using them and they're too small to use for helping keep a band on while it is doing its thing.Overall, the tool is easy to use and gets the job done for mid-sized tags. My one wish for this tool is for it to have a second, larger size to use on bigger tags. Read more
I feel like this is kind of an embarrassing thing to talk about, but if you're reading this, you've probably got the same issue I did, so I'll keep going. I developed this one tag that just didn't respond to any of the little clear patches or the serums you were supposed to put on 45 times a day. I was either going to have to go to the doctor, or take more drastic measures.I feel like I got lucky when I found this. I hadn't seen any solution like this before, but it theoretically made sense, so I went for it. The kit comes with a bazillion tiny rubber bands, and you essentially use the tool to stretch a band over the tag to basically cut off the blood flow. Putting the band on was very easy, and the instructions are very clear. It was completely painless to put on, and you don't notice the band at all, since they're clear. I'm 4 days in (it's supposed to take about a week on average), and on the 2nd and 3rd days, I noticed an ever so slight burning sensation in that area. Today that sensation is gone. Don't let that deter you - it was more of a tingle than anything, and it wasn't distracting or anything, but it warrants mentioning in case you have the same experience. I expect it'll be gone in the next few days.I hope this was helpful - if you've got a tag and you're as embarrassed as I was of mine, I'd highly recommend this little kit. It's painless, by and large, and it's definitely cheaper and much, much faster than going to a doctor. Good luck!! Read more
I have had these little skin tags my whole life, they pop up every once in awhile,I used to get them frozen off at the doctor, but now a doctors appointment without insurance is too much ,so , I would cut them off. It was very painful...I have 2 skin tags , one was so small I could not get the rubber band to stay on it.The bigger one is doing better. It doesn’t hurt. It feels a little bit stingy the first day, on and off , but nothing scary. This kit is easy to use and it’s nice to have an alternative to the cutting technique. It was quick and painless for the most part.I found myself looking for more skin tags , they give you a decent amount of rubber bands. So , you can get rid of these stupid tags.It takes a few days for it to work. Read more
