Yall, I live in the south, where the summers are hotter than you know what. I am very fare skinned, so I typically burn within an hour of being in the sun. When I tell you that this sunscreen/tanning oil is the BEST, I mean, it's AMAZING! I've been using this for about a month and spray myself down whenever I go out, even if it's just for a few hours and I am so tan! I love it! Super easy to spray and apply lasted pretty good in the sun and gave me a Gorgeous tan. Runs out pretty fast because of how much I use each application. You can see where You’ve sprayed. Ordered this product in anticipation of summer with my son. During FIRST use it was extremely hard to spray (we have had these before and something was VERY wrong) So I contacted the seller. The seller explained it was outside of the return window so oh so tough for us. Should have bought this at the store bc then you could take a DEFECTIVE product back for an exchange which is all I wanted and actual product that WORKS. I just used mine for the first time today and I was really relieved that the instant bronzer was very subtle. I can barely even tell that there’s any bronzer added. It’s also not greasy at all! I tanned outside for 20 minutes and I didn’t feel the need to shower afterwards because I didn’t get sticky, greasy, sweaty or smelly. The sunscreen smells great and I like the continuous spray because I can spray my whole body by myself (including my back).According to my Dminder app, the UV index during that time of the day was “very high” and I still didn’t get burnt.I have light skin and it takes a while for me to get tan, so I will edit this when I start to see a difference. I vacationed in the Bahamas in February. Was skeptical on this because of the orange cast other ss with instant tanning left me with in the past, but I tend to head for shade and wanted to bring a tan back to the great Northeast. Unbelievable! I put it on in the morning before I dressed and reapplied at the beach. Did not have to worry about orange palms afterward either. This stuff is AWESOME! If you know the Australian Gold scent you know that it smells amazing, and completely protects you from the sun. Goes on smoothly, stays on (follow recommended application schedule) and doesn't feel sticky or greasy. I will say that I did miss a few spots when I was applying and I burnt to a crisp in those spots. I recommend rubbing over the sprayed area after application to make sure everything is covered. I love the smell of Australian Gold sunscreen and have purchased items from the full spectrum of Australian Gold products. The original (non-bronzing type) lotions, creams, and sprays smell the best to me. If applied appropriately and reapplied every 1-2 hours you will have great coverage and exponentially reduced risk for burns. The scent is tropical compared to the chemical-medicinal scent most sunscreens offer. Price is reasonable and comparable to other brands such as coppertone. Read more

I really liked this stuff. The scent was definitely unique, yet not off-putting or overpowering. If they came out with an unscented version I would choose that, but that's just me. The actual sun protection was great; I was out on the water and the boat for hours for days on end and never got burned, even on areas where I usually do such as the tops of my shoulders and the bridge of my nose. I have already repurchased another can as I ended up using up the first one I purchased. I didn't realize until I repurchased that it has a built-in bronzer, but realizing that made the fact that I noticed a really subtle sun kissed tan developing after the second day I used it on my vacation. I know I don't tan that fast so I was wondering, but now I know ;)The packaging is a metal can with a plastic button that you push down to spray the product out. The continuous spray is nice and fine, and I really, really appreciated the attention to detail with the actual button/nozzel: it can be twisted to the right to 'open' the nozzle to spray the product, and can be twisted to the left to 'close' the nozzle so that pressing down does not allow product to spray out. Absolutely BRILLIANT, as I always kept this in my beach bag and didn't ever have to worry about product accidentally leaking or spraying. This feature alone was part of the reason for my repurchase. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an easy to apply, easy to pack/travel with, protective sunscreen. Of course, I'd prefer something with less chemicals in it, but considering I only use it for a once-per-year vacation, it's doing the job. Read more

This is a great sunscreen, only spf 15 but still I don’t get burned even being out in the sun all day. ( I typically don’t, I tan very easily, but if I’m out all day in the sun, I’ll burn a little so I use spf 15 to prevent that ) there is no brown colour to it that shows on the skin, it kinda fades as it goes on, I have an olive skin tone so maybe that’s why it doesn’t show up well. It sprays like a jet of plain brown water (no fine mist here). This is not a nice sunkissed bronze. I don't know how much sun protection it offers because it dripped from my body, It left my skin covered in brown streaks and it stained my clothes. Smell acceptable. Not much sun protection. The scent is ok but leaves runny brown streaks down my legs. It can also be rubbed off so it wasn’t something I used after trying once. The spray is watery so it’s hard to put it in in a light coat without it running . Read more
