I love this supplement. Activated charcoal is a great way to deal with stomach issues, which I have when I fast for more than a day. Since fasting is something I am trying to do more of, I find charcoal critical. These are not the typical capsules, which have to be emptied into water if you want to avoid the gelatin capsule. Instead, they are balls with no caps that are surprisingly easy to swallow with water. The amount per pack is great, although I might prefer packs of 1,000 instead to have more options on how much to use. For example, if I wanted to take 1,000 per day rather than 2,000 every other day, I would be worried about the charcoal being left out too long. The "activated" element fades pretty quickly when exposed to air. Regardless, I definitely prefer these to standard caps, with the only thing holding me back from using only these being the price. Overall, this seems to be a good product. I have not noticed any bad side effects and it seems to have been helpful in discharging undesirable stuff. The packets are kinda clumsy, though, and the little charcoal balls easily fall out as you open them. Swallowing a packet of so many small objects feels odd. These were easy to take, I took them at night, I just swallowed these water easily. I like that these are made from coconut, I like that these have the added benefit of the peptides. From reading up on it the format of these really seems to be unique and much more beneficial than just taking charcoal in a capsule, so I really like this format. I took these as directed and I don't know that I saw any difference, this does not mean that they did not do what they claim they are supposed to do, it just means I could not observe it if it had. I ran out of my very expensive digestive enzymes, and when in a pinch a little quality charcoal can go a long way, so I used this instead. And it worked wonderfully! I avoid gluten and dairy for health reasons, but I still occasionally partake, in my weaker moments. So, I always need a backup plan! Charcoal isn’t always my friend though. I try to avoid using it as much as possible because it can lead to additional digestive issues for me. But this one has not! It has actually been pretty terrific. These Aura Life Polypeptide Coconut Charcoal Balls are convenient. The directions say to take one packet every day for seven days and then every three days as needed.
