I purchased these because I like the look that the metal teeth give to hair when it separates it. I was excited about a good deal like this but when I got them the teeth were so short that it did not give my hair even the slightest separated look. If you're not looking for that separated look I think they're pretty nice. As other reviews stated, they are kind of flimsy but I actually liked that because I don't like my head to be squeezed too hard, which gives me a headache. I have a headband similar to these from nearly 20 years ago and wanted more. The quality of these is Much better than expected considering the price. Of course, I wanted more that were beaded like my old one and expected new and updated.My issue with these is the Asian sizing and 'stretchability'. The dimensions given were as stated but being a lightweight metal can be 'stretched out to accommodate my American head. The 'teeth' are slightly smaller than my old one. Taking all this into account, I decided to purchase.As it turns out, the 'teeth' are too short for my thick hair, and don't even grab on. Yes, I can 'stretch them out' but, then they stay out so are very Loose. Not at all like my old beaded one. It's 'teeth' grab right on and it retains it's springiness fitting my head comfortably for hours. Alas, probably returning these. Read more

I use this type of headband because my hair is fine & the wire teeth hold in place better than the plastic ones do. I think it is a good value because there are 10 headbands, different colors (wrapped with ribbon). Because it is a wire headband, I was able to bend the teeth slightly to adjust to the shape of my head, for a better fit. Yes, sometimes some of them feel a little snug behind the ears, but I just move the headband a little. I would suggest even adding a little padding to the ends for extra comfort. look out for the ribbons, because each one of mine has become unglued from the metal framing and needed to be re-secured. These are great for me because once they're in, it is secured and doesn't slip over my face or behind my head. I like the ribbons because they add just a splash of decor to the outfit. Read more
