The zipper is on the short side of the case and does not go all the way across from corner to corner. This makes it impossible to stuff a fluffy 12x16” pillow into a 12x16” case without ripping the seam. The case was ruined before I could use it and had to be thrown away. Read more

Over the past year, I made the switch from regular cotton pillowcases to satin. I am getting old enough where I am acknowledging I am getting older, and need to seriously start taking care of my skin and hair. I took the plunge in getting this silk pillowcase, and I am so glad I did. Out of the package I could feel the difference between my satin and this silk one, it was a little softer and a lot cooler. I have a very fat memory foam pillow and with some wiggling, I got the pillowcase on and the pillow filled it nicely. I love the zippered enclosure. I will never understand when they do not have this. Even the envelope enclosure I have encountered will shift and slip with the smooth and slippery texture of the pillowcase. This zippers smoothly without catching, which is awesome. This pillowcase feels cool to the touch, even after laying on it, within a few seconds, is cold again. I have fine hair that can get frizzy, and waking up after sleeping on this, I have extremely minimal frizz and bedhead. It is crazy how much better my hair looks. I no longer look like a crazy lady when I wake up. I am very impressed with the quality so far and will be purchasing more for my daughters pillows.* I base my own purchases on customer reviews. I got this pillow because I heard silk pillowcases help with your skin, plus it feels very fancy. It arrived promptly, and I'm super happy with it! All the seams appear to have quality stitching (see photos), and the pillowcase looks beyond sleek. It's super soft, and so very silky. I also like how they include a little pamphlet about the silk and the pillowcase, to help educate you on what to look for for a quality silk product. I have been using silk pillowcases for the past 10-15 years and I am so addicted that I can't sleep without one on my pillow so I even take one while traveling.This is a high quality pillowcase made of 100% Mulberry Silk. It is double sided with 6A highest grade and OEKO-TEX certification which is what made it a little more expensive than the ones I typically buy. I love the color and appreciate the zipper being easy to open and close.Although it is recommended that you hand wash and hang dry, I ALWAYS put mine in the washing machine on the delicate cycle and toss it right into the dryer. I have never had an issue but I suppose you could handle it as the manufacturer recommends if you have the time and patience.I like the bigger size and I appreciate color. Appearance: Great pillowcase. Very soft on the skin.Installation: Take this out of the manufacture packaging and run it through a laundry cycle - make sure the zipper is closed when you do that. After its dry, shove your pillow inside and carefully zip everything up. Done.Thoughts: I like this pillowcase. It's very soft and very nice to use.
