Bottom Line: I absolutely recommend this product! I am someone who always enjoyed getting pedicures...but, a few years ago, the care of my feet and regular pedicures became essential due to medical issues. Now, I have regular professional pedicures twice a month. Over the years, I have tried many different foot soaks most of which were okay but remained on the search for a truly quality product. Recently, I discovered ASUTRA Premium Therapeutic Foot Soak … and my search has ended! While I usually do not take the time to write reviews (which is selfish because I appreciate and find helpful reading reviews when I am looking for a product for myself), I decided to write this review for the benefit of those who need a quality foot soak and also to support companies that offer good products that deliver. This is an excellent product. It is an all natural organic product which does not test on animals (all musts for me especially no animal testing) and provides a truly therapeutic soak for my feet. While I am not claiming that it performs miracles, it does what it says it does - effectively cleansing, soothing and healing. The scents are pleasant (my preference Tea Tree & Lavender) and not at all overwhelming as some can be. The salts dissolve readily in the water. I was never much of a spa person, but I've gotten to appreciation how nice it is to pamper yourself sometimes. I do a lot of walking, and at the end of the day, it feels really nice to give your feet a good soak.This product is a combination of tea tree oil, lavender and epsom salts. Tea tree oil gives the soak a light tingly feeling, and also helps to kill bacteria and fungus, which helps with fighting athletes foot and helps with deodorizing your feet. Likewise epsom salts soften your skin and helps neutralize foot odor.I found this soak to be a little pricey on it's own, but it's definitely more affordable than going to the spa. I liked the cute little wood spoon the product comes with -- when I bought it the product image didn't show a scoop as clearly so it was a happy surprise, and it's nice that the product comes with a pumice stone. I liked how strong the smell was in the product as I found the fragrance to be very relaxing. I used about two scoops of salt for each soak. I've used this product a few times now and haven't made a big dent in the tub, so even though it feels expensive, over the life of the product it's not so bad. Also, if you factor in that this product comes with a stone and scoop, the pricey is comparable to the other soaks of the same size. Will not purchase again.Update 11/20/17 - I appreciate that the President of the company reached out to me after reading my review. I was offered a full refund due to the product not meeting my expectation (without needing to return). It is a few years now that I have been trying with many different creams, etc. to "heal my heel", and especially my fungi toe nails. If not for the (original) Ped Egg, I may have been limping today. (The dried skin build up, was just making it very uncomfortable to walk.) The Ped Egg helped, but was far from a cure, and surely did nothing for my brittle, ugly nails. Finally, I met with positive results when soaking in dead sea salt. After one treatment, I knew I was in the right direction. The true clean feeling, immediately allowed for a more comfortable walk. Yet, I figured it would take at least 6 months for the fungus to clear. A year has passed, and while there has been a nice improvement, I am still waiting to report 100% clear. (I think it's fair to say it's 70% gone.)I started looking for another company that sells the Dead Sea salt. That's when I found Asutra. While I was pleased with the previous company, I am even more enthusiastic about Asutra's added oils and the peppermint smell. This product is absolutely heavenly and one of the best finds I’ve found on Amazon.Beautifully packaged with detailed instructions, a little note from the seller, and a lovely wooden spoon inside, I went with a (gluttonous) three scoop treatment for my first soak, and truly, my feet hadn’t felt as good, or look as good as they did in years – longer than I can remember.I didn’t realize at the time that I had scratched my foot gardening, something I do quite often and then because of circumstance, develop an infection. After the soak was when I became aware of the scratch which healed quite nicely and it never developed any problems.It took all of my self-control to not have another soak the very next night, and the nights following. It was just such a wonderful and relaxing experience.The sea salts have a wonderful texture to them and also a fabulous scent.
