But that isn't what this review is about. Not really caring to improve my women's fashion knowledge, I went through the magazine looking for the scent samples. I found 5 in the magazine, but this perfume was by far, the best.Fast forward a 2 years and I had a girlfriend. What to get her? Call it selfish, but I wanted something that we both could enjoy. I love perfume in general so hopefully this review will help some people whether if they are debating on buying this or not.I fell in love with the scent of this one. I had smelled this originally in one of those little magazine ads but I wanted to wait to smell it in person just because those don't really do justice for how it really smells.Went to Kohls, tested it. Liked it and said I would eventually buy it for myself.The best way I can describe the scent is fruit that is sweet, soapy and powdery but doesn't scream sickly sweet. If you are into the whole fruity/gourmand perfumes such as myself, then this may be up your alley. Out of all Ariana's fragrances, this is one of her more mature scents. Not saying that's a bad thing. Not saying you'll smell like an old grandma either. However, I wouldn't recommend blind buying this if you haven't smelt it in person because everyone perceives scents differently.In my opinion, when I personally smell this, I don't get any of the base notes which are vanilla, sandalwood, amber or the middle part of it which is Peony with the exception of the marshmallow scent. I only pick up the top notes which is the black currant and plum. To me, this is less vanilla and marshmallow like her previous perfume and more fruity and powdery because of the black currant and plum that makes it stand out and pushes the base notes and the florals to the side. Which smells delicious. It gives you a sort of clean scent because as I said before, it smells soapy. Kind of gave me of B.S.'s 'Midnight Fantasy' vibes because they both share plum notes and they are both fruity in that aspect. But completely different dry downs.My only complaint is the very weak sillage and longevity. This only lasted maybe an hour if that on my skin and about 4 & 1/2 - 5 hours tops on my clothes. After about 5 hours, I could barely even smell it anymore. I had to literally pull on shirt to actually smell it where I initially sprayed it. Which is disappointing for how much this perfume costs. In my opinion, her first perfume Ari has a better sillage and longevity than this one. I recommend either Ari or Sweet like Candy. I find those last longer on my clothes and skin better.As for the packaging, it's pretty and appealing. The bottle shape looks and is the same as all the others. However the bottle color itself looks kind of cloudy but under light it is an iridescent purple-ish pink. You can somewhat see through it but not completely. First of all, I fell in love with this fragrance when I smelled it for the first time in Ulta YEARS ago (its half the price for a 3.4 oz on Amazon btw so order here). I absolutely adore this fragrance. However, it didn’t go well with my body chemistry at all. It actually smelled rancid on my skin after a few hours - so of course I’m devastated 😂 That’s error on my part though! Back in the day they had a hair mist version of this scent that I loved. I don’t think they sell it anymore, but since I’ve noticed this doesn’t work well will my skin, I’ve been using it as a hair mist... I’m just careful that it actually mists my hair and doesn’t hit my skin. Same amazing scent that I love. I just can’t use it as a traditional perfume. All of the other reviews are legit though. I went out on a limb and bought this without smelling it and it is TO DIE FOR! If you like Ariana Grande’s Sweet Like Candy, you will love this. I wear this everyday and get so many compliments. This is a very sugary perfume. WHICH I LOVE.The staying power is okay... I wish it lasted longer. If you spray a bit on your clothes combined with your skin it stays a bit longer.But overall I will continue to buy this scent. It's so amazing! I give this a one star due to false advertising. This is advertised as 100ml and you will only receive 50ml. Even when replacing 3 times I continued to receiving 50ml. If you look on the pictures it says 100ml of the barcode label but clearly 50ml. I have reported to Amazon!! Read more

Just purchased my first Ariana Grande perfume and I’m in love. It reminds me of Black Star by Avril Lavigne but much more sweeter and sexier, definitely wearable for every occasion. This scent is gorgeous!Bought for my teen daughter as a xmas present who is a big fan of the singer and she loves it.The bottle is pretty and looks great on her dressing table.The fragrance is soooooo nice! It lasts all day and smells like a much more expensive perfume. She has had lots of compliments while wearing and is definitely her knew favourite perfume. I have even stolen it for a few nights out. I’m pretty sure this isn’t the actual grande perfume but it’ll do, it’s not the exact scent and as it’s a perfume i’d expect it to last longer than is does and be stronger than it is...However, it doesn’t smell bad or completely different just a scent off of the originalalso was comparing to my mini bottle and the lid is slightly a different colour which indicates that it’s fake - i might be overthinking it but it definitely smells different to my other bottle which i bought in store and my friend said the same thing.. I bought this blind. Never smelled it, but because I loved Ariana Grande's Sweet Like Candy perfume, I went for this. I love sweet perfumes and this is sweet. Not as nice as Sweet Like Candy, it's nice but I don't love it. I liked the idea of marshmallow description, but wouldn't say I can really smell that. It actually smells a little similar to Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy. Lasts a few hours, I would say moderate longevity. Would I buy it again? Maybe. But I wont be rushing out to buy another when I finish this bottle. I must say though, as cute as the pom pom is, highly annoying when it swings in front of the perfume. I must take it off! Read more
