From the brand Our story How we got our start? In 1990 Britta Cox developed Aquitex, a proprietary moisture-wicking fabric drying hair in half the time, setting the tone for healthier hair habits. AQUIS was the first hair towel of its kind & we continue to innovate & develop technologies that bring us back to nature & best version of ourselves. What makes our product unique? It’s all in the Aquitex, our innovative fabric that gently removes water from hair without leaving behind a heavy, soaking wet towel. Keeps healthy moisture in while drying hair 50% faster, resulting in frizz-free, shiny, healthier hair. Why we love what we do? We are a team of problem solvers and innovators. Nothing makes us happier than creating products that allow people to express themselves and develop the confidence to help them live their best hair lives.

Aquis towels is excellent, BUT.. only one question I have, why ALL your towels is cut in crooked way? If you see on the end of towel, one corner is longer and all of them like that, even I getting them from different places, they still all crooked?? That any purpose for that??? 😆😜I got waffle towels from different company, they all nice and corners. That is very weird. Other wise, towels is excellent and do job. Read more
I've tried, natural/organic Bamboo towels...they are very heavy and take forever to dry, hence after 1 year or so they start to smell. I then switched to Organic Cotton, same story but not as heavy and maybe takes 1.5 - 2Y before they start to smell. I like natural/organic things but not everything that's not in that category is evil/harmful (though a lot are!). These towels are made of Polyester & Nylon, with the latest microfiber technology...I won't go into the science of it here (but it's pretty cool) suffice it to say the towels are very light, they aren't plush if that's your #1 objective but they have a soft/smooth feel that I like and they dry fast! Time will tell how long they can stay fresh but I'd be shocked if it's less than 2Y! I wrote this mainly for the Aquis Bod Towels I bought but they apply to the other great ones I bought, the Everplush Diamond Jacquard Bath Towels, only difference there is they added some Cotton to make it a bit more plush but they are still fairly light and dry fairly fast. Again, time will also tell which we prefer! Read more
I'm very impressed. Probably the most absorbent and comfortable towel combination you could ask for. The towel really does dry in one pass or "pat" and it airs out and dries incredibly quickly. I'm currently a long-term guest at a friend's house and my "space" includes my bedroom and the guest bathroom. The bedroom door needs to be kept closed (long story) and the bathroom doesn't vent very well, so I was needing to put my regular towel in the clothes dryer every day after showering just to get it to dry out. I can hang my Aquis in the same bathroom that doesn't vent well and it dries out just fine, with no mildew smell accumulating at all. Seems almost like magic. My only complaint would be that it would be nice if it was a little larger. While it's large enough to wrap around my waist for decency its smaller than my "luxury" towel it replaced. Read more
My Daughter gave me the smaller Aquis hair towel at Christmas and I loved it so much I wanted to get a bigger size. I like the body towel for my hair, because it gives ample coverage and allows for tucking. The other thing I love about Aquis waffle towels is they are light weight. My regular standard size towel is very heavy and I have a serious neck problem; however, my Aquis towel is so light weight it really helps with my neck pain. Not to mention how fast it wicks water from my wet hair. Read more
I haven't used this body towel yet, as I ordered 2 from Aquis and am using the other one. I'm a HUGE Aquis fan. I have the "hair towels" I use as hand towels, and I have several turbans and have even given one as a gift. I'm a fan for life. I've been using the turbans and "hair towels" for close to 2 years, and no other microfiber towels compare. I'm a microfiber snob when it comes to my hair, and having been in the beauty industry for over 13 years, I've been exposed to countless brands. Aquis is it for me. I even carry a "hair towel" and a turban in my overnight bag! I can honestly wrap a "hair towel" around my body, but it's not long enough to cover parts no one needs to see! The body towel does and then some. I hope they come out with lavender and purple body towels to match my turbans and "hair towels"! Read more
This is an excellent towel and more absorbent than you would guess. I first bought them for my dogs, but over time I couldn't see why I wouldn't use them for myself. They dry VERY quickly which is a real plus and I can fit twice as many in my washer and dryer as ordinary towels. They are especially good when the family comes over for a swim during hot weather-- and washing 6 or 8 towels and drying them quickly is a real benefit. Thanks for a great product Read more
A lot of women with long hair have already written reviews on this towel, and they all agree that this towel saves considerable amount of time. I was wondering if this product was worth trying since I am a man with relatively short hair. Yes. It saves time with short hair as well. But not as drastically as I read on those reviews by long hair women. The first thing I noticed is that, with a cotton towel, there is a limit to how dry my hair can get with towel drying, no matter how hard I try. After that point, I have to air dry. This towel can get my hair drier than the limit of cotton towel by usual towel dry effort. Same is true for the body. I can get dressed almost immediately after jumping out of shower, and my hair naturally dries so that I can apply hard gel. It saves a bit of time every day and I find it totally worth it.The fabric feels quite differently on skin, however, and some people don't seem to like it. The towel doesn't slide as naturally on skin, compared to cotton. Sometimes I pat where I used to wipe. It would be great if they could improve that, but it's not worth compromising the absorbency if it's a trade-off factor. Read more
I had bought some other travel towels such as the Aquis Adventure Microfiber Towel in Graphite, but this waffle weave towel is the one to get. FAR superior. Here's why this is the one to get:1) It's (relatively) soft, absorbent and feels more like a real towel than the other travel towels I have tried.2) It's big enough to wrap around me and stay covered decently while at the gym.3) I would say that it's still very light and small, and whatever extra weight/bulk over the other towels is fairly imperceptable compared to the utility you get from it.4) It seems to dry as well or better than the other travel towels I have tried. If I were going hiking, this would still be the towel I would get, since I don't see the point in saving an ounce in weight only to curse at the lighter but far less absorbent towel and work twice as hard to try to dry off. Works well but the feel is very synthetic. Read more
