I'm sure the Aquis hair towel is very good at its intended application. It happens also to be a very good car drying towel. I keep a solid single layer of wax on my car and wash very frequently. In Wisconsin, the prevention of built up mud and crud on your undercarriage is key to rust prevention in the winter. You have to wash constantly during the cold months to keep the salt-laden road grime from building up a corrosive layer in your car's nooks and crannies, that gets activated every time it gets wet. And you don't want to leave water droplets on your car.In winter I often wash 3 times a week, whenever the roads are dry. And if they aren't dry I wash more. My mechanic has noticed over the years how my vehicles always have far less corrosion than most of the cars he sees of similar age and mileage.I used to use 3 car towels to dry my car. This towel plus a soft silicone T-blade squeegee have made it so I can dry a car with one towel, and that towel still feels fairly dry after finishing. This towel is great! I have a ton of long fine hair that is more than half way down my back. I was nervous this towel would be too small for my long hair, but the towel actually covers all of my hair. I usually leave my hair wrapped in the towel for about 20 mins and then my hair is a little more than halfway dry. I've also noticed my hair is less frizzy. I purchased this item 1/7/19 and I'm still using it. I don't use it for my hair but instead to dry off my CAR. Forget those expensive real chamois and synthetic ones which streak. Both require delicate maintenance and ultimately never last as long as promised. This waffle towel absorbs water better than any of them. Hands Down. Years ago I was to told to buy one but I never did. Unlike most towels you buy this one ISN'T A WASTE MONEY. It washes up nicely too and holds it's absorbency. It's been almost 2 years and it still works the same as it did-- Day One. This guy know CARS and this guy loves his Waffle Towel. If you need a towel to dry your car, this will dry your car. However, I was not super impressed with how well it did it. While I did not have to wring it out even once to dry the entire car, it definitely was not super absorbent and was leaving a lot of moisture on the surface even after rubbing over the surface repeatedly (I have a pretty small car 2019 yaris). To me it seems like it pushed some of the water around more so than absorbing it, it did absorb a lot and ultimately it was successful at drying the car - but I honestly think you might be better off with a plush type microfiber drying towel rather than this square waffle style. As another reviewer said also, they really did not make it easy to remove the tags on this one, and you do pretty much have to damage a bit of the towel to remove both tags, one of the tags is removable without damaging towel, other is not. I stumbled across this towel looking for a chamois to dry my truck. I wanted something soft and with a lot of absorbency. I wanted to cut down on the number of times I had to wring it out when drying my full-size truck. Some reviews here suggested that this thing did what I wanted for drying my cars after washing and they were right. I can't believe how much water this thing will take. I can normally dry my entire truck right after washing it and the water is very beaded up all over without wringing this towel out. I have thick, straight hair and I tend to go to bed with wet hair after a shower. This towel helps remove a much larger portion/majority of the water / moisture from my hair than a regular towel or other hair-Dini type products I’ve used in the past. What’s most impressive is how quickly it sucks the moisture out of my hair. I’m a new mom so getting a shower at the end of the day and crashing into bed quickly is the norm. I never write reviews because I'm lazy. That being said, I hate this towel for a hair wrap and had to complain to someone. I can never get this thing to stay on my head and it pulls my hair when I can tuck it in correctly enough to stay put for a few minutes. Any amount of movement will make it slip right off. So half the time it doesn't stay put and the other half it causes pain.It is very absorbent buy not worth the stress. I do have long hair but it's thin, so I don't think that's the issue. I think other reviewers had the right idea to use this as a car wash cloth. Read more

Got suckered in by good reviews but this towel honestly isn't all that special, or worth the price point. The longest size isn't long enough for my hair and I STRUGGLE to tuck the ends under so I don't have to hold it in place. I wrestle with it constantly and half of my hair still sticks out. The only positive thing I can say is that it does get my hair noticeably dryer. Did nothing for shine, color, frizz ect. I'm going back to my old school turbie twist. Read more
