This towel was purchase not for hair drying purpose (which im sure works wonders for hair as it did for me for drying my car) the way this towel dried my car after a wash was pure magic no lie!! I bought 2 of these nearly 8 years ago. The first thing I noticed is that they have cut the cloth so close that it BARELY wraps around my average sized head and therefore pulls on the front part of my hair as I have to twist it so tightly to make it work. Even at that it continually falls down because there isn't enough remnant to make a good tuck under at the back. Most importantly, it simply isn't absorbent enough. Until Covid I had short hair and short hair really doesn't take that long to dry. However, my hair is now below my shoulders and the smallness of the towel became truly unworkable, worse, it really doesn't handle all that extra wet hair. I was spending AGES with the hair dryer which is what I wanted to avoid.I've just bought a set of COTTON Turbie Twists and WOW, WOW, WOW what a difference! Microfibre does not hold a candle to a nice thick cotton. The absorbency rate is through the roof. So I put one Turbie Twist on for a few minutes and then switch to another dry one for another few minutes as the first has absorbed so much water that the microfibre didn't. The microfibre only seemed slightly damp, the water stayed in my hair!!!Now my long, thick hair is dried in about 2 minutes with the blow dryer as opposed to nearly 10 blow drying minutes with the Asquith towels. So I wholeheartedly recommend COTTON, COTTON and only COTTON. And the Turbie Twist is roomie, not tight. But if I had to, I'd just use a cotton towel rather than this microfibre trash. I'm one of those nuts who likes to drive a clean car -- I wash my vehicles every 1-2 weeks. I had a car drying towel from Meguiar's which was supposed to be absorbent, but it was just OK. Someone reviewed that product and recommended using this towel instead, and all I can say is WOW, what an improvement. Sure it costs 3x as much, but I'm getting 4x the performance, so I'm coming out ahead. Well, not really. My wife saw I bought this for my car-washing habit, and she was a little put out that I bought this for drying cars and not for her, so I had to buy a second one for my wife. I bought it in a different color so that I wouldn't mix the two. She is happy with this to dry her hair. I'm happy with the way this works for drying cars. I used to use a version of this that had a little slot in the back to hook the tip after wrapping your hair. I was not sure about this b/c the prior ones i used were like a pocket style that stored the hair. This one is more like a normal towel shape. I ended up liking this on much more. While it does NOT have a hook in the back, the wrapped end fits easily in the towel at the base of the scalp/neck and does in fact stay. My hair is to my waist so I did not think it would hold all of my hair but it DOES. it also works much better than the other brand I was using. it has a much better absorbency and dries quickly when hung back up on the hook for the next use. love this. I also think this would make good gift especially for one headed to college, etc. Read more

These are softer than microfiber towels that are not waffle weave. They dry very quickly and are super absorbent. I first bought microfiber towels for the pool and beach, but was so impressed with them that I now use them in my bathrooms. I live in a humid environment (Hawaii), and thick fluffy towels are great at a hotel, where they’re changed daily, but these are much BETTER at home, as they dry quickly and never smell musty. I now have them throughout my house. My houseguests have even been impressed enough to want them for their house. I am sold on them! The only negative is they are on the expensive side, however they last a long time. I love them! Read more

These work well for those of you who like to bend their head over with their wet hair and make a quick left, right fold and then back up. These work perfectly for while you are doing your makeup.HOWEVER, the grey and the beige colors look dirty to begin with and so I suggest you get the white and hope for the best if makeup and whatnot get on it. Was really excited to try this out with a lightning deal. When I tried it, the shape was strange for my longer hair and it did not feel as though it absorbed nearly as much as my plain towel one that I purchased for a fraction of the cost. Is not as soft as other reviewers state. Even after washing it feels and absorbs the same. I would not recommend for long hair or if you need hair to dry quickly. We've been using Aquis towels for many years. Compared to the ones we got in 2014/15, the current version is slightly thinner, and the quality and ways tags are stitched on definitely need improvement. The ones we had before had much softer tags that were stitched flat on the towel. I never really felt the tag while using it. This one's tags are hard and are not well fixed.Sometimes it really scratches my skin. The old version worths five stars, and this one, one star deducted. Read more
