Erin is an Artist not at all afraid to use color. When I first viewed Erin's Work it reminded me at times of a stained glass window with the brilliance of light streaming from behind. Heightened intensity, at least for me. She paints in multiple parts of the country so I do not appreciate some places that she has painted; that does not diminish the quality of her work or my appreciation of it. I would love to see a whole wall of her paint, if it were the right image for me...what I am saying is I think her ART works very well in any size; but it would be fun to just step into one of her images! Wonderful bowl, okay mallet/wand. This bowl is a nice size for holding in your hand and the color and sound are gorgeous -- once you have a good wand! Bowl ships with a glass mallet with a silicone wrapping, which looks nice but vibrates when the tone gets going, resulting in a sub-par sound. Do yourself a favor and order a suede covered mallet (white ones are best, but any will do) and really get to hear the sound this bowl was designed to give! Read more
I love Erin Hanson's art , so getting her calendar was a no brainer ! Each month brings a beautiful new painting to see . Yes, I still use calendars ! It helps to see what needs to be done at a glance ! Getting my phone out and going to calendars takes several steps and then works only if I entered the upcoming event! I really like this bowl a lot, I was questioning it at first, but I'm glad I went with it. The sound doesn't resonate too long, because of it's size, but it does the job for me. Not sure what the scale this is tuned to is? However, when played and looking at the hz, it was a G4, coming in around 394hz. When looking at a scale, it looks like it's based off of 440 hz, just FYI all. Read more
