This is a review that pertains to how it work for me. I am a 27 years old male that is very active. I took a 44 count 1 pack daily with food every morning. I really looked forward to taking Animal Pak. I felt a difference after 2 weeks. However towards the end of my container I notice that my ankle started to get swollen. I ordered another Animal Pak 44 count. I continued to take it every morning with food. Shortly after the second container about 12 packs in I developed numbness in my hand and ankle. I consulted with my Doctor and had some blood work down. Come to find out I had Too Much Vitamin B12. I stopped taking Animal Pak after I found out the results from my blood work. -- After several surgeries, nutrients have been very hard for my gut to absorb. My blood panels consistently showed low-levels of many, including vitamins A, D, E, B1, B6 and B12. The same for calcium, magnesium and essential minerals. My energy level was also low. I eat well (no junk) and walk on a daily basis, albeit using forearm crutches. I am a 64 year-old male with a 'past' history of hypertension and type 2 diabetes. At a consult with a physician-referred nutritionist, I was told I could buy several different supplements at a cost of over $200. per month, or I could try these. There's two supplements I take year round as part of my foundational core stack. I don’t know if it’s psychological, but these feel like they help in my appetite suppression(perhaps because a pack is the size of a small meal?? LOL), and feels like gives me energy. I’ve never had adverse reaction to it, but, I generally take it off and on to make sure I don’t get build up, like a month on while I exercise and at least a week off, etc. I’ve been using for several years, and no problems. The horse pill size can be hard to swallow but I’m completely used to it. I dropped almost all other vitamin mineral supplements and just go with these. Who really knows if certain supplements are better than others or not?? I just know I haven’t felt any bad effects from them and pee is colorful. This is my first purchase of Animal Pak. I was using Orange Triad before but wanted the extra choline and a few other things Animal Pak offered. I have no issues with the vitamins and seem to have better energy levels than without them. That said, I cannot take the recommended dosage or I get afternoon headaches. So, I cut the amount in half. I do not necessarily think that is anything to fault the vitamins or vitamin makers for--rather, it is probably just my system--but if you run into the same issue, just cut back and see how they do you. (I am not as active as I should be, and these are made for those for whom exercise is an integral part of life; that may be part of my issue. That said, part of the point of buying them was to get back to regular exercise: I am a carpenter, among other things, so they do help with muscle mass, etc., just from daily work when I am actually carpentering. :D) Read more

I used to take different multivitamins before settling on Animal Pak. I went out and bought the pill version since it was the only once available at the time. The only con with the pills was that it was annoying having to swallow 11 pills before lunch, and I got tired of it real quick. Fast forward to there being a powder version available. I reached out to a lot of people in the industry who use Animal Pak and they all switched to the powdered version, along with a rep from Universal Nutrition. It is way easier to take than the pills and I drink it along with lunch once a day, unless I'm prepping for a show in which case I'll do lunch and dinner. The only difference you'll notice between the powder and the pill is that your piss will turn neon much quicker, since the powdered version is absorbed much more quickly.However, if you plan on taking either the pills or the powder, you NEED to eat it with food. I took the powder the first day thinking it was going to be like a BCAA's type drink, and within an hour my stomach was churning and I felt nauseous.
