I like these sheets a lot, even though I'm giving them only 4 stars. I'd give another half-star if that were an option. The reason I took away a star is that when washed and dried or slept on, these sheets look like paper that you've wadded up and then tried to flatten out by hand. In other words, they really need to be ironed in order to look their best. Nothing wrong with that, but the simple fact that I'm buying toddler sheets suggests that I don't have time to wield an iron if I don't have to. That isn't being a Mommy Martyr. It's just stating a fact. I'm not wasting time ironing sheets when I can spend it playing with the toddler who uses these sheets. Also, the pillow case is more like a sham-pillow case (you put the pillow in through the back instead of the top). No turning the pillow over for the cool side. Maybe toddlers don't do that, anyway. That's just a mention. That wasn't enough to dock a star.Now on to what makes these sheets pretty darned awesome: there's the bottom sheet that's fitted, which is expected. But then, the TOP SHEET has a fitted pocket, so you don't have to do hospital corners! That's a HUGE deal when you're dealing with a toddler bed that has rails or bars on two of the three sides down at the foot. That genius pocket keeps the top sheet right the heck in place, no matter how thrashy my daughter is in her sleep!Where do I have to go to get that fitted pocket on top sheets in twin and big-people bed sizes? In theory the flat sheet being fitted with elastic at the foot of the bed is great to help keep the sheets on the bed, but in practice it makes it not only harder to fold on laundry day to put away on the shelf, but also pins your legs in under the sheet when trying to get out of bed (my toddler likes to have me lay down and cuddle with him at nap time and these sheets make it so much harder to get back out of his bed)The pillow case is not a traditional style pillow case but sham style with a slit in the middle of the back of the case. If you are using a toddler sized pillow instead of a full sized pillow, you will be forever fighting to keep the pillow case on the pillow.I had purchased 100% cotton toddler sheets from another brand and these feel very stiff in comparison to the softness of the other sheets. Product is ok. The sheets aren't very thick which is fine b/c I wanted something lightweight & like other reviews stated, they are not very soft. All this is ok, but what disappoints the most is the stitching & elastic they use. The elastic is a very thin piece, too thin to be used for fitted sheets & also for the top sheet. Then the stitching is not done well at all. It almost appears as though single thread & stitching is used. I'm hoping these hold up for 6 months. The one thing I do like is that the top sheet had the elastic at the foot off the mattress to stay tucked in; I also wish the pillow case was smaller for a toddler pillow. After the first wash, I had to hit it with a lint roller. It really made it softer. It’s worth the hassle dealing with fabric quirks until they’re broken in just to have the elastic on the bottom of the fitted sheet. I bought these because I wanted 100% cotton for my toddler. I liked that the flat sheet was half fitted (at the bottom) to hold it in place. However, these are the scratchiest sheets I've ever felt. Even after two washes they don't feel nice against the skin at all. These are now just a set of spare sheets. Read more

The top sheet is fitted at the bottom! This is the best feature for toddler bedding and twin toddlers who like to unmake the bed. These are our go to sheets because of this feature, the sheet stays on the bed even tho they unmake the bed often. I was worried about these sheets being scratchy because of the reviews that I have read, and when I first opened them up and felt them I was disappointed to feel that they are indeed a little scratchy. My toddler, however, seems to think they are the most comfortable sheets ever. She tends to take her pajamas off when she is sleeping and I have asked her several times if the sheets feel itchy and scratchy on her skin, or if they feel soft and smooth. When I ask her she always gets a big smile, hugs her sheets up close to her skin snuggles them up and says "they are soft and smooooth and comfy and I love them!" So, while they don 't seem to me like they would feel great, my tot says they are and since she is the one sleeping on them I will have to take her word for it. I LOVE that the top sheet has one fitted end. It keeps the sheet on her bed with all her tossing and turning and makes it easier to make her bed in the morning. I would recommend these sheets. Purchased and washed this set according to washing instructions after receiving. Wasnt super thrilled about how wrinkled everything was after but nothing a quick steam can't fix. Also found (and this may just be because it's winter but it's particularly bad) everything sticks to this sheet! Any little fuzzies from my daughter's stuffed toys or blankets are sucked onto the pillowcase and sheets. Was impressed with price and colour, a sweet pink, which I was hoping for. These were great, I love that the top sheet is fitted at the bottom as well. The color stayed true though many washes, but I did notice that the fabric did not soften up over time. Still, I’ll take durability over baby-softness any time and I would buy these again. Read more

This is a really cool sheet set! The flat sheet is fitted at the bottom and has never once come off to get all bunched up. It's not as soft and I would have liked, and the material wrinkles immediately, but I'm still happy with my purchase especially for the price, and i havent found anything similar for a crib/toddler bed. Only things I like about these is the color and the fitted flat sheet. Otherwise the sheets are a bit rough to the touch and the pillowcase is way too huge for a toddler pillow. Would be nice if the flat sheet was wider on the sides so that it could cover my active sleeper throughout the night. Good for the feet though! Read more
