Not at all pleased with this purchase.Sure it looks cute in theory but it's too small to work with a standard crib.Out of the box the print was cute but the material was overly wrinkly. I ran it through a warm wash and dry to get the "factory ickies" off. I also washed the coordinating crib sheet and didn't experience any shrinkage there so I know I didn't shrink it in the wash.Put in place over the base of the crib (under the mattress) It's overall at least 1-2" too small width wise and lengthwise to the point where there is a noticeable gap on one end at least (if you line it up to the other end.It was so blatantly terrible that I ended up cutting off the two ends and just kept the sides in hopes of making it less awkward. Nope.There's a noticeable 2 inches gap as well as it's super wrinkly and doesn't just hang right. The box pleat in the centre of the two sides hangs weird. Perhaps I should have pressed it and starched it but I had just spent 20 minutes manhandling it to get it into place.Out of principle, given that I've spent good money on this, I'll keep it and use it as is (especially since I already had to cut it) but I'm deeply unhappy about it and get angry just looking at the gap.See my photo: this is a standard size Ikea crib with a standard sized Safety 1st mattress. I was looking for a crib skirt in all of the stores and online. They are soooo expensive (like at least 50 bucks)...and for what? Decoration. It's not even a sheet to sleep on. Anyways, I got this based solely on the price. It looks pretty cute on my crib, fits nicely and all. It is a little thin though, so it's kind of translucent. Still, I wouldn't pay 50 bucks for a better quality one. This one suffices. I do like the pattern a lot too! Overall, I'd say I'm happy with my purchase. Read more

TOO SMALL!!!This is such a cute crib skirt, but it's just too small for my standard sized Ikea crib!!! So there is about a 2 inch gap on either side of the crib (from the front), between the crib legs and the skirt and it looks dumb. I did wash it in cool water before putting it on the crib (to get any chemicals off), so maybe it shrank??? It shouldn't shrink like that though!!! I decided to keep it anyway, too lazy to return - but I wish it actually fit. Maybe I will try stretching it out next time I wash it and letting it air dry. It will probably rip... It fits the crib mattress well, but the skirt is a little short. To be fair, the mattress is in the highest setting, but the skirt won't touch the ground even when the mattress is completely lowered. Not a big deal for us, but it might be for someone trying to use that area as storage. We have a DaVinci crib. Also, the fabric is pretty wrinkly even when it was straight out of the dryer. A previous reviewer indicated that the dots appeared with a slight green tinge - she's right! But once you step back and compare with the colors in the rest of the room is very unnoticeable.The fabric doesn't feel like it would withstand very many washes and that the dots might wash off (I didn't want to risk it and try). Very cute but the fabric is poor quality. The fabric is super thin and almost see through. Also I ironed it before putting it in and it re-wrinkled almost immediately. For the cheap price though you can't expect too much. Read more
