This item disappeared from Amazon for several months, and I was DEVESTATED! Even after cutting a ton of stuff from my diet, I was still waking up with achy legs every morning. THIS supplement was the only thing that effectively helped. I don't know why, and I don't care, I just know that this one works, and no other brand does. Up until December 2020, Amazon used to sell this with:400mg Curcumin, 140mg Ginger, and 10mg Black Pepper. Now it is:316mg Curcumin, 140mg Ginger, 5mg Black PepperThey didn't drop the price from 14.99 and they don't bother to mention why they changed the formula. Some say turmeric cures all ills. I'm not making any such claims... But I do take some everyday because arthritis will make you try anything. This formula is fortified with a lot of curcumin in a single capsule. The price is great compared to others. I notice no aftertaste, or 'burp' when I take these. 10/2020 went to four ER's OHSU diagnosis was acid reflux 1/13 I started this supplement and stopped trying different over the counter pills this supplemen started healing my body not just my digestive. No acid reflux. No bloating. No pain. More energy. Healthier. Happier. I think these are great, with one huge problem - the tablets are so large (this is not unique to dietary supplements) that my wife finds them literally impossible to swallow. Far rather take 2 normal sized pills than these jumbo sized ones and as the pill size is typically not part of the product description, it's impossible to know until they arrive or others have commented. Hopefully someone else may find this useful - as I say they aren't larger than some other supplements, but they are much larger than your regular pain relief tablets for example. Read more

I do not take this for pain, so I really couldn't rate it for that. I take it as part of a general approach to diabetes management. I haven't been taking it long enough yet to know if I am getting any benefit from it. I suggest taking this with a meal, just before eating.
