I was sort of in a panic state because nothing I did was effecting my blood pressure to bring it down including taking an additional BP tablet. I thought I had tried it all when I stumbled across Hawthorn Berry tea. The first time I used this tea I was in udder amazement at how quickly it worked and how much better I felt right away. Headache gone. BP back to normal in 30 minutes.When I first started drinking it, I thought it was a bit weak on the flavor scale, however as time wore on, I have grown to love the taste, I guess because I know that in about 30 minutes when I take my blood pressure again, it is going to be in the safe range. It is the signal that I need to slow down and relax while drinking it and that mind set adds to the flavor I guess. I don't always add honey, because I am trying to cut out sugar as much as possible, but adding sugar is a real treat sometimes. I am so glad I stumbled across the wonderful effects of hawthorn berry on blood pressure.If there is a negative, it is the cost. Previously, I wrote a review; staying that I've used this same Brand of Hawthorn tea for more than 10yrs. and, made it part of my daily diet. I've always enjoyed it. Especially, how it kept the swelling out of my legs, etc. This is the reason I need to write this 2nd review because I was so shocked to see that the boxes were different now. And, the TASTE was nothing like it has been since I've used it all of these years! I made it a part of my diet because it helped heal my heart after being diagnosed with congestive heart failure years ago. I don't know what has been done to change the taste and, I'm PRAYING that this next box that I'm about to order doesn't turn out the same way. I have been using the Hawthorn Berry tea together with Valerian Root tea. Both have great benefits to your heart and nervous system--they calm you down, lower blood pressure, and help with arrhythmia. You just need to take them regularly daily or even twice a day for two to three months to see the result. It's not a synthetic drug, so it takes time, but the result is lasting.
