We bought this based on the good reviews that God. The reviews that I read are spot-on and flat iron worked great. Heats up super fast and really straightened out wavy hair perfectly. Careful not to grab up too high cuz my wife burned finger on accident. But now that she knows where the hold it it's fine. Satisfied with this hair straightener. I was unsure of how it would perform because in the past the straighteners I would purchase were more than double this price and I thought they had to be. Basically I thought you get what you pay for. But much to my happiness I found out straighteners have come a long way and gone down in price throughout the years.
