I really wanted to love this product. I was looking for a moisturizer with more natural ingredients, and after looking at dozens of product, this one seemed promising. But when I opened the package, I literally laughed out loud at the thought of putting this on my face. There is SO much fragrance in this product - It would be too much in a body lotion; in a face lotion, it is ridiculous. It's not even a nice fragrance. It's a cheap, artificial floral scent. You might as well spray yourself in the face with dollar-store perfume. It made my face itch just thinking about it. Unfortunately it's non-returnable, so in order to make myself feel like I hadn't completely wasted my money, I tried it on my arms (on a day when no one would smell me). The ironic thing is, this might have been the perfect moisturizer if it wasn't for the scent! It absorbed quickly, and made my skin feel soft and smooth without residue. Unfortunately, almost doesn't count. If the idiots who developed this product ever pull their heads out of you-know-where and make an unscented version, I might give it another chance! Read more

I first discovered this about 10 years ago and absolutely loved it. It's so incredibly lightweight yet highly moisturizing. I have very oily skin and this is perfect. I love trying new products so after a while I moved onto to something else, but never forgot about this. Recently, I needed to cut some of my spending, and immediately bought this when I found I could get it for less than $10 here on Amazon. High quality product without a ridiculous pricetag. The ingredients are exemplary for the price. In fact, anyone familiar with Korean skincare have undoubtedly heard of cica (Centella Asiatica), which is also known as gotu kola, one of the main Ingredients in this! I was pleasantly surprised when I found that out. So, needless to say, it's a very nourishing moisturizer and great for red, irritated, Inflamed, and sensitive skin. But that's just my two cents. The product, "Alba Botanica Smoothing Jasmine & Vitamin E Hawaiian Moisture Cream" was in a jar labeled as such, but it was off white and gelatinous. The true product is bright white and creamy. Also the smell was off. I don't know what they put in the jar. Also the jar from this seller had a lid and container that didn't fit quite right. I immediately purchased from Amazon.com Inc and received the real deal. Fraud is a strong word, but in this case I'm afraid it applies to some degree. A long time favorite! I prefer to use natural and organic skin & health care products so as one may imagine I have tried nearly everything under the sun. I can honestly say that I keep coming back to this Alba Botanica Vitamin E & Jasmine Cream. It is a nice light texture, not greasy at all. It spreads nicely over the skin and smells divine. It does have a scent but it is very soft and subtle fragrance of soft Hawaiian jasmine that fades quickly within a few minutes after applying. The results of this product are amazing! I use in conjunction with the matching eye gel  Alba Botanica Hawaiian, Green Tea Eye Gel, 1 Ounce  with fantastic results. Oh and by the way, my skin type is dry and I currently live in a dry climate. I'm so happy to have found this cream years ago and have it in my skin care routine for a long time and running. I decided to hold off writing this review for a month to give my skin a chance to adjust to the product. My skin is acne prone and many moisturizers that are noncomedogenic still cause me to break out. However I desperately needed to find a moisturizer that wouldn’t break me out because my skin gets dry and flaky from using salicylic acid face wash.This is the first moisturizer of the many I have tried that doesn’t cause more acne, effectively moisturizers my skin, and has actually stopped the peeling and flaking that has plagued my skin since puberty. This is my holy grail of face lotions. Are you on the fence about buying this?Hop over the damn side into smooth acne free skin. This does not clog your pores with nasty oil. I had no idea my moisturizer was making my skin worse. I mean WTF!?This stuff is absolutely fabulous. My only minor complaint is the packaging. I love this moisturizer for my oily, dehydrated, acne-prone skin.I started using it when my skin was at its worst, moisture barrier destroyed, dehydrated to hell and incredibly oily. I layered it first after cleansing, then followed up with acne treatment and another moisturizer. I've also used it as my main moisturizer after a layer of oil applied on damp skin, or just applied by itself on damp skin to keep it hydrated longer using Hyaluronic Acid (HA).It's very cooling, solidly moisturizing but not too thick - more like a cross between a gel moisturizer and a cream. It dries down matte even on top of a few drops of oil. My skin glows more with it.Which brings me to the highlights of the star ingredients list: Glycerin, Aloe Juice, Camellia Sinesis Leaf (Green Tea) Extract, Centella Asiatica (aka Gotu Kola aka Tiger Grass) Extract, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Allantoin, Hyaluronic Acid.Can't go wrong.
