As an AA woman, I try to support all people but mostly those left behind or under appreciated and unvalued. I purchase from the "mothaland" often lol. Mostly shea, coconut oil, black soap and etc, and I literally watch them make it. This soap reminds me of black soap because it goes on smooth but it is very drying afterwards. I'm not sure if that a plus or minus for sensitive skin because the only irritation may rise from dryness. I use a Shea butter whipped concoction so I don't notice too badly. It's a nice scent and great lather but it's nothing moisturizing about this stuff. Cannot stress enough how much I love Alaffia body wash. The Passionfruit scent is sweet and lovely- not too overpowering, not underwhelming. As always, provides a great sense of *clean* and does not leave you feeling slick or dry. I needed a fragrance free body wash, and when I saw that Alaffia had this item I jumped at it. I use their unscented bubble bath and I love it. I like that this item comes in such a large bottle, however it does have a smell. When I pump some of the liquid onto my wash cloth and lather it up there is an unpleasant smell to it. I tolerate it because it's not an overwhelming scent and once the suds is rinsed off the smell disappears and your body doesn't have that scent on it. I wish they can change this product and remove all of the scent that's in it and make the solution clearer, like they did with the bubble bath. Read more

Not a fan of the smell. I typically love the smell of passion fruit but it does not mix well with coconut and Shea butter, IMO. Not as moisturizing as I thought, after reading all the reviews. I still feel a little dry after, even though I only stay in the shower for 3 min after lathering myself with this bodywash. Also, I don't like the fact that you have to use 3+ pumps to get a good lather onto a loofah. Other products I only use 1-2 pumps. I always want to really like these body washes because of the ingredients but I can not. This is my third attemp at a different body wash by this brand The fragrance leaves your body as soon as you rinse off. It does not lather on a cloth but will lather on a loofah. But as soon as you step out the shower you can not smell it AT ALL. So it is like you never used it. Maybe it's ok for a quick shower aroma and that's it. Here and gone in under 10 seconds. I love this brands natural product line. The way this lathers without the use of harmful ingredients makes me feel more like the product is working well compared to some other natural cleansers that do not bubble up at all. The passion fruit scent is intoxicating (in a good way). The pump is a great idea as some of their other caps are more difficult to open in the shower. Read more
