I have never tried saline solution in my nebulizer and wanted to give it a shot. I have used albuterol which has no effect on me. I'm coming off a flare up right (severe asthma) and after much research it seems that saline would help with loosening and removing congestion. After checking at several pharmacies .......prescription required! Why, it's saline solution?? So here on Amazon is exactly what I'm looking for and it is also Prime! I just completed two treatments and am already feeling much better. I ordered the box of 100 ampules. At first appearance ampules are half full, BUT look at the measured dose. My albuterol 3 ml ampules are smaller but full.......it all comes out to an equal 3ml dose. Will definitely be reordering in the future. Read more

I use them for filling the 'bowl' and rinsing of my scleral contact lenses. This 3ml is good size to carry around for daily use or for travel convenience. They are preservative free and workings well for dry and sensitive eyes. I posted pictures of how they look like in the box upon opening, and the difference between the 5ml size- left side of picture and 3ml right side of picture. My optometrist gave me some 5ml but these are 3ml. Look carefully and you will see the 3ml is filled up to the 3ml level and 5ml filled to 5ml. There is some confusion regarding this. You are buying 3ml which looks and is half filled, 300ml, 100 tubes. Read more

I like these 3 ml vials for using with my nebulizer, flushing my eyes, cleaning cuts and moistening a dry nose. I have dry eyes and they often feel scratchy so in between my prescription drops I use this to make sure nothing is in my eye/s. I keep some with me in my bag and they have been helpful when a little friend skins a knee. I flush the area with this and cover with bandage until we are home. I take many medicines that can make everything dry. That includes the nose. Usually I can use one vial for my eyes and nose to keep them moist. Like others have said, these do not burn and the size is easy to stick in a pocket, bag of purse. While it probably isn't made for this, I have even moistened my lips and mouth when my water bottle was empty. There are 100 vials in the box so they last a long time. I like them so much I am on my third order! Read more

I have hypersensitive eyes and cannot use usual contact solutions, not even the sensitive eye solutions. I used to use Unisol until it was no longer available and now I use Purilens as my saline solution. These small dose packs are perfect for travel or to keep a couple in your purse in case of emergency e.g. if someone has something stuck in their eye or if a contact comes out. Things I shouldn't advocate, but it is what I do: During travel, I use one vial for about 4-5 days and have even put it in my purse, opened, without it leaking. I definitely continue using after expiration, too. Just keep the tip somewhat protected. Read more

We've used both the 3 ml and 5 ml sterile saline from Addipak for 3 years now. This product is 3ml but I see a lot of people saying they are only half full. They have ml/cc markings on the sides and these saline containers are the same size as the 5 ml containers but because these are 3 mls, they are filled partially - to the 3 ml mark. The 5 ml ones are filled all the way to the 5 ml mark. If you want/need fully filled salines then purchase the 5 ml size. These are sterile and we use them for scleral contacts after noticing our eye doctor uses them as well. 3 mls are enough to fill the contacts so we didn't want to waste 2 ml of the 5 ml. They are also used for nebulizers for inhalation. Read more

This product is just what I was looking for, a saline eye drop with NO preservatives. My eye Dr. told me to get 0.9% saline solution. I know this product states that it is for inhalation but but it can also be used as drops for dry eyes. It is very easy to use. After I open it, I wrap it in a clean napkin and then put it in a plastic baggy to keep it sterile. I use it for 2 days and then throw it away. I had no problems with it and I have VERY sensitive eyes. I am very satisfied with this product. Read more

I use the 3ml to moisten and flush my eyes. If you order this size, it comes in the 6 ml vial, so it looks half full, but it isn't. Just read the ml on the side! They are stuck together, yes, but it's very easy to twist one off. Unlike what other people have said, do not use a little once and keep the rest of the vial for later use! You might get the vial infected with germs and this defeats the whole purpose of using a sterile, one time use vial! That's why I like these rather than using a big bottle. And you can carry them around with you easier than a bottle. Just order the 3ml and you get a nice dose for a regular eye rinse. Need more? Open another. Have used them for years ever since noticing they are used at my eye doctors. Read more

I ordered these for use with my gas permeable contact lenses. The packets are very easy to break apart and the tops twist off easily. I saw other reviews rate this product lower stating it came "half full." I will say just remember that these are 3mm and not 5mm, so they did come filled up only to the 3mm line, which makes it look like it's not full. I only have to use one of these to put in both of my lenses, so I find it to be more a cost-effective option than the full 5mm and I don't waste any of the product. This is now my go-to for lenses!
