My wife uses this mouthwash and it seems to be a good product. After 3 times of taking apart the drain to clean I figured out that this mouthwash was causing the problem. The mouthwash mixed with water becomes gel like and clogs the drain. Solution is to spit into a cup and flush it down the toilet. No more clogged drains now. Read more

I've had hereditary chronic dry mouth for many years now and this is my main go to product. I use Biotene which is thicker at night when I have to get up and Act Dry Mouth during the day which has a much better flavor. I've come to realize that it's much more soothing when chilled; not just cold, but chilled. So I keep it in the fridge and in the morning put enough for the day into an empty water bottle and then into a small cooler with several frozen cold packs and wallah. Soo soothing! And I must mention the fact that I order this regularly and it's always been delivered within two days without fail which I really appreciate. I had been experiencing dry mouth especially at night due to a medication I need to take, and it hasn't been pleasant. Other than discomfort, it also causes bad breath and cavities, no matter how good my oral hygiene is (electric tooth brush, drinking lots of water, flossing daily, eating well). I previously used alcohol based listerene and it definitely dried out my mouth. The positive of this mouthwash is that it doesn't dry out my mouth itself and the taste is honestly mild and pleasant. Maybe people dislike the taste because of the fluoride that makes it taste a bit mineraly and like the mouthwash at dentist offices, which I don't mind at all. The negative is that it doesn't fulfill the purpose it says it will, which is actively preventing drymouth. While more expensive than basic mouthwash, right now it's still fairly affordable, so I don't have any issues with using it and am happy I am no longer using alcohol based mouthwash, but I would explore other options. I have been using this mouthwash for a long time, as I need the flouride. It doesn’t work as well for dry mouth, so now I am using another dry mouth product as well. Just a note for the future, it was sent in a plastic bag and arrived slightly damaged and leaking. I was able to transfer it to the empty bottle that had’t yet gone out to the trash., but in future could you please package it better? Read more

I bought this for my father in law who had just finished radiation/chemo treatments. He had horrible dry mouth and he says this rinse has really helped him out! He also tried the lozenges for dry mouth but said the rinse helped him far better as the lozenges stuck to his teeth. Hope this helps someone in the same situation. Read more

I was skeptical about how well a mouth wash promising to help with dry mouth would work. The medications I take make my mouth really dry, and my dentist pointed out to me that it is contributing to getting cavities (which I never previously got before taking the medications).
