Hubby here,These little nuttin's of an anything saved me a pocket full of money.I had just bought a pair of $250 Ariat work boots, which seemed to fit fine in store, but after a few hours it became obvious these were not going to break in proper at the heel. No taking them back, as I had already applied 3 days of treating.I bought these inserts and am now wearing those new boots without a problem.I don't see these having a slip problem with typical low heel shoes, but with boots the top pushes down when heel is pushed in; I resolved the issue with just a dab of silicone at the top to adhere the insert to the back portion of the boot.I still gave this product 5 stars, cuz ....... $250!!! lol Read more

These heel protectors are amazing!! Thin, flexible, they are just what I needed in my Vibram Furoshiki wraparound boots. They also fit in my Five-ginger shoes. These particular athletic shoes would rub my heels and as much as I liked them, I’d have to rotate them due the discomfort. No more! These amazing little heel protectors take up no room, they fit like they were part of the shoe, never slip, and out perform anything else I ever tried!!! These inserts are awesome! Most slip-on shoes rub my achilles heels and leave blisters. I have tried band-aids, heel inserts, moleskin, etc. but most times they do not help when wearing shoes all day. This is the first product that has actually worked and I have not had any blisters, rubbing, etc. when I put them in my shoes.The picture makes the inserts appear to be stiff and rigid (like plastic) - but the actual product is similar to a sturdy foam. Inside the shoe the insert is soft to the base of the heel. The tip of the top of the insert has a slight curve outward, so it does not rub on the achilles heel.They appear to be well made, and I expect that they will last awhile.Highly recommended and I will definitely purchase a 2nd pair! I bought a pair of shoes I loved (and couldn't return) that hurt to wear. And then I bought another pair from a different company that gave me the same problem. The back of my feet were blistered and painful from shoes I wanted to wear but couldn't try on before purchase. So I looked to these shields for a miracle. And while they aren't miraculous if your shoe just doesn't fit, it does allow you to break in shoes that do fit but have a troublesome part that gives you a blister. I've used these on three pairs of shoes. One two of the pairs, wearing the shoes with the shield broke in the shoe after a half dozen wears and I can wear these shoes without the shield. For the third pair of shoes, I just bought them too small and these shields help prevent blisters, but doesn't take away the discomfort. I have recommended these and would buy them again if they were to break down. I've had them a year and worn them 2-3 times a week. They are as good as new. Read more

Seller responded to my inquiry quickly. I learned that the mens and womens were the same, just different packaging. Great for women who have large feet, like I do. Having cerebral palsy, plantar fasciitis and Achilles issues, these don’t look like they would do much but they help, and smaller heels in comparison to the rest of my foot, everything gaps. Also great for any shoes or boots that are flexible in the back like Converse. I like that they don’t have adhesive as most adhesive ones don’t stay on long anyhow. They did move around a little, but that stopped after lacing up, and I quickly forgot about them. I may try them under my orthotic. Since the wound is healing from where my ankles were rubbed prior to having any heel guards I think they will be even better once that’s completely healed. Even with that healing, I have felt much less rubbing and my boots have felt good today. I wish these came in a pack with 2 pairs. Read more

I bought these because I always had a problem with getting heel blisters from new shoes. These fit into all of my different types of shoes and definitely protects my heels from getting blisters. They make my shoes fit a little more snug, but that was expected because my shoes already fit my feet perfectly. Now I don't have to worry about getting blisters again and I can always interchange them and use them for other shoes. They stick out a bit in the back but at least they will be able to protect for shoes that come up higher in the heels. They are also made from a malleable foam so I have to be careful when slipping my shoes on so that they do not get folded/ruined. Read more

These are made from about two cents worth of foam, to say that these are incredibly overpriced would be an understatement!! They do nothing in your shoe. Save your money and get shoes that fit. Junk! Read more

I never write reviews, but this deceptively simple, little product now is on my list. I have a heck of a time finding cute, well-made shoes for my janky feet. Recently bought an initially perfect pair of Vionix kitten-heel pumps that subsequently began to rub the back of my heels raw. This product corrected the issue altogether! The shield slips under the heel of the foot inside the shoe and extends up to the lower achilles. No more rubbing and a very comfortable fit. Bonus: it can be positioned so that it's dang near invisible. Material seems good quality but will buy an extra pair in case product disappears. Wow.
