I got this because my sugar went high from stress and holidays. I mean, think of the worse things you could think of and it happened to me in three months, no exaggeration. My doc was worried and ordered blood tests but I wanted to keep track in the mean time. Nice to be able to measure my HbA1c. However, it is difficult to correctly fill capillary tube with correct amount of blood. I failed one the first time so had to repeat. Fortunately, I have the 4-test pack. Read more

I am a Type 2 diabetic. Found out about a year ago and am determined to not be a Type 2 diabetic for long.I have changed my diet and lifestyle a bit and am getting there. These tests give me a guideline of how I am doing and they are not far off the doctor's results. The price could be a bit better but they are good at keeping me inspired to do better. Read more

I purchased these kits before. Works fine. A1C 6.4 and dropping. I love sugar. This kit tells me no sugar.Once a month, I check my numbers. I really like the idea of being able to test my HB1AC so after a few months of trying different eating patterns and different meals, allows me to see what my sugar is looking like in a two or three month period. Also helps me see what meds are and aren't working for me. I like that I no longer have to go to my Doctor to see where I am sugar wise. Read more
