I thought these hair clips looked cute for a casual young look. They are not rich or glamorous looking by any means but they add a pop of pretty color to the hair.The description said they are for all hair types. I have baby fine hair and find that most hair clips slide out of my hair. With this set several slid out but most seemed secure. For example, I do not have enough hair for the star clip which has a pin back clasp. The bumblebee bobby pin stayed in my hair as the bee was light and the bobby pin with the soft purple circle stayed in if I put it back far enough.Some of these are a little too juvenile for me or won’t stay in my hair but I will use a couple of them. This variety pack of hair clips is really pretty. Unfortunately, some of the clips are made poorly. I specifically ordered this set for the bow bobby-pin and it is sloppily glued at the center of the bow. The heart bobby-pin is also bad. The pink colored enamel is spilling out over the edge of the heart. It’s too bad because some of the clips are very well done in this set. Ordering these hair clips is kind of a gamble because you don’t know if you’re going to get some badly made ones or not...and if those are going to be your favorites. The quality control is just really lacking with these hair clips, so I’d recommend to proceed with caution and to not get your hopes up about any one clip. Read more

These hair clips are pretty and fancy. I could see wearing the simpler ones for daily, casual outfits - the heart, single jewel, or bow. The others are pretty fancy and would look nice when dressing up a bit.These look very much like the product photos. I was happy with how they looked in person.These clips felt secure and they didn't hurt my head. Most slide on like bobby pins, 2 are clamps, and 1 is a barrette that clips closed. This is a nice assortment of hair clips, but some look better than others. Fortunately, I ordered these for a little girl, and the ones that I think look cheap are the ones she likes the most (the circular ones with sparkly beads). Getting her to wear clips is a challenge, so it’s nice that she will wear those and most of the other designs in this set. This is a pretty assortment of bobby pin style barrettes. I got them for our 3 year old and she loves them. She has a "thing" for these types of barrettes lately. Luckily she has thick, coiled hair, so the weight of the barrettes won't be an issue. They're a bit bigger and heavier than I expected and I don't think they will stay in place very well on fine or thin hair - they will slide down. Read more
