I have several sets of these type silicone applicators. They work well to apply a mud or other mask to the face, face cream, suntan lotion, acne cream, bacitracin on a scar, etc.There are eight applicators in this set with four different colored handles (pink, white, yellow, and pale green). I would have preferred that they included some round silicone applicators and some angled ones too instead of eight of the same edge. These silicone brushes are terrific for applying moisturizers and face products. I can use everything that I take from a bottle instead of wasting a lot on a Q tip or cotton pad. Even using my fingers isn't as efficient as using these silicone brushes.This particular batch are a nice selection of sizes so I can reach all areas of my face with the right amount of stuff. I got these for my wife who is an esthetician. She uses the regular bristle brushes to apply products/masks on clients. Pros: they are not expensive; you can quickly wash and sanitize them; the products/mask spreads quickly without a lot of waste; they are pretty. Cons: edges are too straight and spreads unevenly. Best for use mainly with thick mud mask. They make excellent token gifts for clients. She still prefers her more expensive bristle brushes for facial treatments. These brushes have NO bristles. The silicone "brush" part is a flexible, solid piece, without "hairs." You can't use the brush as a substitute for a foundation brush or any kind of brush that is used to apply cosmetics in a thin, carefully spread layer.
