If I pulled it to use it doubled. It would lock and not allow me to pull for their either.The thread was rendered useless. It’ seems to be regular thread anyway, so no true loss there. Except for when I consider the loss I took with the thread and it being unusable, it obviously puts the cost of the thread onto the other items, causing the price per item to go up, then when I consider the overall price of everything minus not being able to use it, I realize that this kit is waaaay overpriced.Honestly, I’d they would just not include three super self tangled and unusable spoils. It would be better if they simply included one small or medium spool of medium quality. I understand you get what you pay for, but this is borderline thievery If you ask me.When I say tangled, I am referring to the fact that I was unable to find the end string to loosen it to bring it out and start on the securing. Each time I would find a lose end, or so I thought, it actually ended up leading back to itself. I ended up cutting a corner to release the lock of the thread, and of course all that did was make a mess of tiny threads everywhere. By the time I got to a useable part it was about a third of the way done with scraps of ot everywhere, that I didn’t even bother with it anymore.The quantity and quality of the clips and the needles and T pins were good, no complaints there. The clip themselves are great because they are a true snug fit and lock well even on my clients with the finest/thinnest hair. So the clips are great quality. If you decide to purchase this kit, be sure you have some thread nearby that will suit your needs. I can not recommend nor advise against this kit only because I am not happy, but I do not hate the kit.I’m just really bummed the threads were are all junk.The threading helpers were also junk. These clips were not sturdy at all. A couple of them were already broken upon arrival. I used these to make my own clip-in hair extensions. Some of the clips stopped opening after 1 use. Poor design of the clips but the needles and thread seem to be fine. Read more

I did my friend's wedding a couple weeks ago & her bridesmaids just had babies & were in the stage where their hair was falling out. So we decided to give them a fuller look we would get extensions. The one they gave me to work with did not come with the clips already in. So I bought these & sewed them in myself & it looked great! Worked really well for its intended purpose. I'd purchase again!
