My daughter loves it. She sat through the whole process with no complaints and slept through the night with them on just fine. We washed her hair, let it dry (still slightly damped). I tried to make sure there weren’t too little or too much hair going into the curlers. I combed each section one last time prior through treading into the curlers. If it was not pulling in at fist tug, I lessened the amount of hair then smoothed it out with a comb and tried again. When taking them off, I pinched the openings open while tugging the other end. Been wanting these for a while now and finally got some. These are very easy to use. Tested them out on my kids at first. They work best when your hair is wet or damp. Their hair was dry so I lightly wet it with a spray bottle. They slept in them overnight. Read more

My daughter's hair was damp when I put it in the curler. Once the curlers were in I did blow dry for about 30 minutes. I left the curlers in for about 3-4 hours. Waves stayed in all day. Definately watch some YouTube videos as there is a leaning curve when using these. I found plenty of tips for putting the curlers on but not for taking them off. The first time I tried them on my daughter she about cried when I tried to get them out of her hair. I discovered that I needed to uncoil/straighten the curler first, then pull the straightened curler off of the hair. No more hurt! Read more

I had a lot of high expectations for this product. Since we don't use much heat products, my girls and I thought this would be a great choice. I can't tell you how many times I've had to redo a pull through for the curl because it wouldn't go through when I pulled...and yes it was very painful for my child. After we got them all in, I found we didn't have enough curlers, so we had to have some without in the back. They slept in it and we took it out in the morning. I got this thinking it'd be easy. But I have super thick, long hair. So even wet I have to use especially small sections to avoid a painful tugging. (Used all pieces) Not sure if it was me already being tender headed but I could barely sleep with then on. After removing them I got some nice curls. But avoided brushing since they diminished bounce with each brush. (Yes I used products, & no I didn't use heat). Nice to find a set with both waves and spirals. The spirals alternate directions on a couple of colors which the ad pic may not show. We've tried both and they are quick and easy to put in your hair. I showed my 11 yr old 1x and she can do it herself. They definitely work. The quantity was enough of each that we were able to do our whole heads at once. If I can find them in a different size curl, I will order more to mix them up. Read more
