Love this! It’s is such a fun product. Im a flight attendant and these have lasted thru my long days. It definitely is a stain so it has great staying power. When it dries it dries matte. It’s not moisturizing but doesn’t make my lips feel dry either. Almost feels like you have nothing on your lips. If you want some moisture (or don’t want the matte look) a lip balm or gloss works perfectly and the color won’t move. In the lip picture I have lip balm on (that’s why it looks with a sheen). In the arm swatch is how they dry and look without nothing on top. Even though I love the product I gave it four stars because the colors are not as varied as they seem in the bottle. The top color on my arm swatch -the bottle shows it as a beautiful deep plum color- is the deepest color of them all. But When you apply it is more like a bright fuchsia. You basically get three pinks, one orange and one red/orange. Thankfully I like the bright colors but if you’re one who doesn’t like bright tones or were looking for variety then this product may not be for you. Read more

I was pleasantly surprised by these lip stains. These go on wet with a soft applicator inside the bottles, and they dry pretty quickly. You can drink without the stain coming off, and eating will make it fade a little bit. However, it seems like the tint on the inside of your lips fades more quickly than the outside, so you'll probably need to reapply after a couple of hours for the best coverage. I like that there's a little scent to these, and I really like the brushes. It's a fun way to experiment with lip colors I wouldn't necessarily pick up by themselves. This would be a great stocking stuffer idea.Update: I took off a star because the very last one was completely empty! I really, really, really love these lip tints! They smell great when you put them on, and cover very smoothly and evenly. And the colors last forever until you remove it with make-up remover. If you have thin lips like me it will make your lips look a little bigger. I really like the dark purples especially. I think my least favorite would be Chardonnay orange, not because its noneffective or unattractive, its just my least favorite color. One more thing that was a little weird was the taste of the tint after you leave it on for awhile. It's a little bitter to the tongue, but that's really my only compliment. I just received these and was so pleasantly surprised I wanted to leave a quick review. These are lip tints/stains which are designed to last all day-which I love as a base under lip gloss or shimmer top coats. The colors are wonderful-I think they'd complement any skin tone-but since you can customize with your choice of top coat there is little risk for anyone to try this set. Beautiful assortment of colors. They are a lip stain but NOT moisturising, which should be REMOVED from the description the seller has on here. I love using them, with a smidgen of gloss for moisture, to have hours of colour on my lips when I’m on the road. So, if you go by the colors represented in the "foil" on each wine bottle, you will be very, very disappointed. The colors, all of them, are extremely bright and intense-- bright pinks, bright orangey pinks, bright orangey reds. They last for ages if applied correctly, but provide 0 moisture. Both to tone down the color and provide moisture, I put them on and then layer a more subdued lipstick over them.I probably would not buy these again just because I'm pushing 45 and these are little jeune-fille in their intensity. These last forever! However, they're all a variety of red - not a pink in the bunch. Since they're all reds, not every shade will work for every skin tone. BUT they last through eating, drinking, etc, AND they're not at all drying. They don't look cakey or unnatural, either. They go on smooth and dry smooth to the touch. After reading reviews I did go ahead w purchasing. What I will tell you is this... if you use chapstick prior to apply it feels more like the lipstick feel that some of the reviewer's were missing! :) I also used a lighter color on the lining, then a darker color for lips.
