They work perfect for making my own I Tip extensions. Had to turn the temperature up pretty high in order for it to melt quick enough to about 300 and it really started streamlining the whole process. Used about 4 or 5 of these glue beads for each I Tip. Cools down and dries very quickly which makes it easy to roll and then move on to the next piece. Read more

So it is all over you tube, how to make your own I-tip extensions, blah, blah, blah, so it is easy to do. While it looks right once you've finished...let me tell you, these I-tips are NOT at all like the professional pre-tipped I-tip hair that you buy. This stuff does NOT hold up! Once you put them in your hair and use the pliers to clamp down on the silicone lined bead, they fall apart! What good is something that falls apart as soon as you try to wear it? That was the whole purpose of buying this crap! I don't think this product is true keratin, it seems more like just crafter's glue that you'd use with a glue gun. "NEW" keratin glue for hair, is just chopped up glue sticks. This stuff just clumps up and when it dries it feels rubbery and slightly tacky. The glue stays sticky after drying, and it does not bond well for long term use. Great if you are looking to take out any hair extensions after a week or two. Not a good option for long term extensions (such as the average time of 1.5-2 months).Does not bond well with other keratin glues. The glue seems really brittle, it doesn't melt well nor does it hold well. Not sure why, I have never had an issue with keratin glue, have been using it for years. Read more
