Comparing this product (12oz jar, $23.99) to the 20oz jar of Vital Proteins unflavored collagen peptides powder ($43.00, or $36.55 each if you're subscribed to VP). Up front, I did not like the 365 brand because it does not dissolve as well as VP does. I would find clumps of it floating in hot coffee. 365 also had a salty taste to it in my coffee, although it supposedly has less sodium than VP. The 365 jar is deceivingly large too. I thought it would have more but it is about 70% full (but the packaging does say 12oz).365 Everyday Value, 12oz, ends up being $2/oz. Closer size approximation if you need it is VP 10oz, which is $25, or $2.50/oz. VP 20oz is $2.15/oz, or $1.82/oz if you're a subscriber (it's 15% off).Agree that 365 Everyday Value has more of each type of protein and less sodium than VP, which yields a higher intake per volume. 365 does not have Hydroxylysine in it, that's the major amino acid difference I see. I'm not a doctor so I don't know how what each of these amino acids do on their own. In the long run, the difference is minuscule in the milligrams of amino acids in each serving because it's all estimated, and your scoops won't be a precise hit each time.Serving amount depends on you, and if you even need that two scoop serving. Studies have evaluated seeing benefits from as little as 2.5g up to 30g of collagen per day so it depends on how much you really need. I used VP for six months and had great improvement in skin, hair, nails and joints. I used 365 for a month and didn't feel different -- so performance is equal.**********TL;DR -- 365 Everyday Value is cheaper per oz. Vital Proteins dissolves better and doesn't leave a taste. I am allergic to casein and sometimes react to products containing various cow parts. I don’t seem to have a reaction to vital proteins collagen, so I bought this item since it’s significantly cheaper. Unfortunately, I was not able to tolerate it. Read more

This is my second container of collagen. It was recommended by a friend for my many ailments. I first tried Purely Inspired. That was tasteless and dissolved in my morning coffee without any issues. This, however, doesn’t dissolve - I get huge chucks no matter how much I stir or shake. It also tastes funny. Not a fan Read more

Here’s the core issue between the WF and fancy brand. The WF brand scoop is just huge. Mixing into morning tea/smoothies etc is a bit hard. So I switched to the vital proteins option because it’s just too hard to use the WF option properly. The vital proteins option has a smaller total amount to mix and has been easier to integrate into my routine Read more

This is a good supplement but be aware that you do taste it in drinks etc. I usually put it in morning smoothies. It doesn’t taste bad but you know it’s there Read more

It’s fine. It mixes well in cold or hot water. Collagen is hard to review when it’s unflavored as it’s...unflavored. Read more

So I bought this collagen instead of my normal VP collagen because of the price & just wanting to try something new. Overall honestly I didn't see much of a difference in them, I always start my day off with a hot cup of coffee and this is when I add my collagen in. In this case I took 1 & 1/2 scoops of the 365 & put it in my coffee. I added a little bit at a time ( not dumping it all in) and it actually mixed very well & it didn't change the taste of my coffee at all which impressed me. It really confuses me on the comments on why there isn't taste …. because this is an UNFLAVORED collagen it doesn't have taste at all.... anyways I got really into wanting to know each product so I collected some extra information.360 product = 2 scoops worth* 90 calories* 70 mg sodium* 22 g protein* 0 sugarsVP collagen= 2 scoops* 70 calories* 110 mg sodium* 18 g protein* 0 sugarsI for sure like that the 365 has more protein and less sodium, but that's not really a deal breaker for me and I do think that VP mix very well in anything you put it in. I will probably just continue buying whatever is on sale/deals ! Read more
